I'm really enjoying my first ever DC and drafting in November.
A couple of observations and a suggestion.
I'm using different browsers on different platforms (Win8 desktop, iOS and Android) but in the HTML draft room the only way I can use the chat is to compose the message in another app then cut/paste it into the chat field and hit Send quickly. If I try to just type normally in the Chat field, my message disappears before it's complete.
Very annoying.
The flash chat room works fine for chat but isn't available on iOS or Android.
Maybe it's an easy fix. Have you explored making Draft Room Chat and/or General Message Boards accessible via the NFBC mobile apps?
Cheers!

Re: Message for IT Department
HTML is not the preferred choice for the DCs and we do understand the Chat problems there. We are redesigning the entire online draft room with a new HTML version and will not have a Flash option going forward very soon. The new draft room is going to be a HUGE upgrade and visually it's going to be very nice. But we still have some work to do there, so the DCs for the next couple of months will need to be run on our current setup. Sorry.Deadheadz wrote:I'm really enjoying my first ever DC and drafting in November.

But I promise that you'll like the new draft room and we won't have to choose Flash or HTML much longer. The new online draft room is going to be very nice.

So...I won't be needing the Windows 8 flash capable phone I just bought since posting the above message?Greg Ambrosius wrote: But I promise that you'll like the new draft room and we won't have to choose Flash or HTML much longer. The new online draft room is going to be very nice.
It's all good, this thing rocks the socks off my old iPhone 3GS anyway.
Thanks for the update.

More IT type questions:
I'm able to run the Flash Draft Room just fine on Windows 8 desktop version of IE10 but when I try to run it on the Windows 8 mobile version of IE the flash symbol appears but nothing loads.
From the research I've done a website has to be on the Microsoft "whitelist" or Flash will lot run due to security concerns. Do you have any idea why NFBC.STATS.COM would be on the desktop whitelist but not the mobile whitelist? Is it that you need to submit the website for approval and they haven't approved it yet - or maybe since you're going away from Flash Draft Room soon you haven't submitted it?
Just curious if anyone out the IS able to run the Flash Draft Room on a Windows 8 mobile device.
I'm using a Nokia Lumia 1020 in case it matters. I don't see this as an issue for NFBC staff but it's a problem for me and other potential users. The phone does run Flash from other sites so it is installed.
Cheers!
