Nice article but kind of played fast and loose with the filters. Almost as if he threw a dart, then drew the bullseye around where it landed.
I recognize we disagree on Ellsbury and his health issues. For whatever reason, his performance has been checkered at best. Great when he is great, but often disappointing.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
