NFBC Mid-Season Leagues Sign-Up List

Mark Yagan of Overland Park, Kansas can't make the Wednesday, July 12th $1,000 Mid-Season League, but he sure would like to be involved in one during the All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 11th. He's our first signup for that league and we'll keep taking signups until we get to 15, hopefully. Thanks Mark and good luck in the hunt for the $8,000 league prize.

Rob Conti of the Bronx, New York won a 2006 NFBC free entry by winning last year's $100 Mid-Season League and he's now trying to turn that $100 into $100,000 (although he admits that if he had taken Carlos Lee instead of Gary Sheffield he would have a much better chance of winning some money this year!

). Rob is back again this year and becomes our fourth signup for that $100 league on Monday, July 10th, which starts at 7 p.m. EST. Welcome back Rob and best of luck in winning the free entry in the 2007 NFBC.

Parnelli Baker of Columbus, Ohio becomes our 13th owner for the $1,000 NFBC Mid-Season League on Wednesday, July 12th, leaving us with two open spots. Parnelli is currently involved in four NFBC Satellite Leagues as work prevented him from competing in our main event this year. Thank goodness for the Internet!

Laurence Edelman had to switch from the $1,000 Mid-Season League on Wednesday, July 12th to the Tuesday, July 11th league because of a business meeting and Christopher Fleming had to bow out of this league, so we're back down to 12 owners for that July 12th league. No problem as we'll fill it soon.

Heath Shaffer of Auburn, Washington becomes our fifth owner in the $100 NFBC Mid-Season League on Thursday, July 12th starting at 9 p.m. EST. Heath is an original member of our NFBC family who unfortunately wasn't able to make it to the main event this year. We're glad to welcome NFBC veteran Robert DeNofrio of Temecula, California back to the Mid-Season Leagues as he just became our fifth signup for the $500 league on Monday, July 10th. Because of a work commitment, David Zwickel had to move from the $500 league on Monday, July 10th to the $1,000 league on Tuesday, July 11th. That gives us four owners in each league. Sign up online in the next week if you want to get in any of these mid-season leagues. Thanks.
