As I explained in the Auction thread and via my email this morning we need to confirm that people are definitely in this league if we go to $2,500. That means we need to get people signed up and their spots reserved. Right now there are 10 spots left. The 5 people who have signed up are all committed to this league at either $1,300 or $2,500. So if you want to get in please sign up or reply back to the email I sent this morning if you were in the league last year.

Again, there are now TEN spots left for this league and all five signups below are in for $2,500. If you definitely want to commit let me know and sign up on the site using the $1,300 option. If we sell this out for $2,500 we'll create that on registration later. For now, please use the $1,300 Friday at 5 pm ET option on registration. Once we get to 15 we'll again confirm that everyone is in for $2,500 and go from there.

Thanks all. :)

I think you need to hold spots for Roy Ericson and Dan Mitlof, who originally committed to the super auction and, like me, were likely confused with the $1300 posting on the signup list.

I'm in for the Super. Why Can't the players vote if we want in the auction championship or NOT. All previous Super leagues has been private leagues, But to keep the Auction Championship alive you want to force it to be part of the championship . Then to be fair the ULTIMATE Auction Leagues should also be force to be include in the Auction Championship. Or please Explain Why they are different beside entry fee, because the super entry fee is different then Auction Championship. You have tried the championship at $800 entry, $1000 entry, now $1200 and still have no grown this format, so why not let It die and RIP, and go back to private auction leagues with $650 and $1300 and get new people trying Auctions?

If there is a vote, mine will be for the super to be included in the overall auction as well. Sacrificing some of the second a and third place prize, while keeping the 1st place at 20k and giving another shot for 20k more in the overall is more interesting to me.

But, I would like to see more auction options. I think if the software was developed and people could do online during the off season it would help grow these leagues in that format.

Outstanding. We're at 15 now.

OK, I've asked for this league to be put on registration. With the holidays and all I'm not sure how quickly it will be done but the good news is we have LOTS of time so no worries there. :) Once this is put on registration I'll sign everyone up and delete the $1,300 signup if you have done that already. Nothing is being removed from registration so if there's interest in another $2,500 Auction league or the $1,300 we'll definitely keep taking signups. But here's the list of players who will be a part of the FIRST $2,500 Super Auction League in New York.

NEW YORK
New York Hilton
Friday, March 21, 5 p.m. ET, $2,500 league
1. Chris Throop, Old Greenwich, Connecticut
2. Michael DeCavalcante, Hoboken, New Jersey
3. Jody Ryan, North Oxford, Massachusetts
4. Bobby Brendler, Rockville, Maryland
5. Alan Greenberg, New Haven, Connecticut
6. Hal Goldstein, Albany, New York
7. Andy Saxton, Bear, Delaware
8. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York
9. Jason Duponte, Waltham, Massachusetts
10. Michael Lins, Hillsborough, New Jersey
11. Leonard Ringle, New York City
12. Mark Srebro, York, Pennsylvania
13. Dan Mitlof, Congers, New York
14. Glenn Lowy, Farmingville, New York
15. Jeff Dobies, Farmingville, New York
