Get Better Soon Jan Gustafson!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue May 16, 2006 10:44 am

A lot of you guys in the NFBC who draft in Las Vegas know our dynamic sister team that helps with the stickers. Jan and Claire Gustafson have been involved with the NFBC since our debut season in 2005 and they even have their own team in the National Fantasy Football Championship. Jan also takes all of the great photos in Las Vegas that we eventually use on the web site.

Unfortunately, a week after our Las Vegas draft, Jan was involved in a mishap that resulted in a serious broken leg and other complications. She's doing fine now, but was hospitalized for a bit and still is off work. We ALL wish her a quick recovery and improved health. Get better girl before we party in Las Vegas in September! :D

Jan is sending photos now for the web site and we'll update the rotation soon. Trust me, we'll use plenty from Las Vegas as our boys in New York, Chicago and Tampa can't take very good photos! :D So I apologize for the delay, but there's a reason for it.

We'll also get some video up there soon. Brady Tinker has sent me the tape of the event in Las Vegas and I'll give it to STATS to put for all to see. Not a bad start.

So wish Jan good health here and hopefully this will speed up her recovery.

Best wishes on a speedy recovery, Jan. Don't let the time off discourage you from taking the entire Broncos team this year -- I hear Cutler could be a sleeper! ;)

Thank you everyone! I'm doing better...I broke both my left ankle and my left arm. I have two more weeks of the dreaded "casts."

Thank you for understanding the delay in pictures.

If you see any picture posted that you'd like to have to print out, you may email me directly at [email protected].

I so appreciate of your good wishes and kind words. And Greg, you are too kind.

Everyone take care and watch for more photos.

I don't think Jan's really hurt -- I think she just developed sympathy pains with Javon Walker. ;)

Feel better soon, Jan.

Nice description of yourself, Rick. Actually, I think you were describing your partner, John Perrin! :D Rick is the short (and I mean SHORT), bartender-type body, bald but still keeps a line of stubble on his head just to prove to everyone he could grow one of those wrap-over hair styles if he really wanted to, late 30s-ish guy who always has a sports jersey on (I like the Robin Yount one for baseball)! :D That still doesn't narrow it down too much. Okay, he's the one who discussed the Mind Freak show with me in August!!!

He's also the one buying me, you, Brady and Claire the first round of drinks in September! :D Now get better so that you can run up to the bar with me to retrieve those!
