SOLD OUT: NFBC March 30th Ultimate Auction

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Nov 20, 2013 1:47 pm

The last live event of the 2014 NFBC season is the NFBC Ultimate Auction League at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. This year that contest is set to be held on Sunday, March 30th at 4 pm PT. We have filled this league for nine years running now and in fact last year we filled TWO Ultimate Auction Leagues.

Once again we are offering two Ultimate Auction Leagues, with the second one being held on Saturday, March 29th at 5 pm PT at the Bellagio Las Vegas. Owners who competed in those auctions last year have first dibs on spots for 2014 through November 30th and today I notified all of them again of this deadline. Nobody can take their spot if they sign up in the next 10 days.

However, we have owners ready to step in if needed. In fact, we now have ONLY 5 SPOTS LEFT in the Sunday March 30th Ultimate Auction League and ONLY 7 SPOTS LEFT in the Saturday night Ultimate Auction League. Reserve your spot soon if you have an interest in competing for the $40,000 league prize.

Here's the current signup list for these leagues and look for more updates here:

Re: 5 SPOTS LEFT In March 29th Ultimate Auction

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Dec 06, 2013 9:55 am

I'm happy to report that the Sunday, March 30th NFBC Ultimate Auction League IS NOW SOLD OUT!! Nice job everyone.

We had 12 of the 15 owners from last year's Sunday Ultimate Auction League come back this year and we've added three new owners to fill it out. I'll make sure everyone has their team pages set up today, but that one looks good right now. Thanks all and what a good group of owners we have for that final event of the live events season.

We currently have 9 owners signed up for the Saturday night NFBC Ultimate Auction League and a 10th owner tentatively returning. That leaves us with ONLY 5 SPOTS LEFT in the Saturday, March 29th Ultimate Auction League. What a great way to conclude Saturday, with a $5,000 Auction League after the Main Event. Who is ready to join us for this one and a shot at the $40,000 league prize? Sign up online or contact me at [email protected] and we'll get you set up. Thanks all and good luck.

Re: 3 SPOTS LEFT In March 29th Ultimate Auction

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Dec 24, 2013 1:03 pm

NOW ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT in our Saturday, March 29th Ultimate Auction League. We already have one full Ultimate Auction League on Sunday, March 30th and now we are close to a second one. Let's do it.

Sam Botnick of Tarzana, California won our $100,000 grand prize in the NFFC Online Championship with a last second pass reception to Tony Gonzalez, so he's "reinvesting" those winnings in baseball and coming to Las Vegas to celebrate that win. Sam just edged out Chad Schroeder for that title, but have no fear as Chad won plenty of football money. Sam is teaming up with Lord Todd Zola on this team, so more numbers are coming your way in this auction league!!! Partnerships are in vogue in 2014!!! Good job to all of our football winners and good luck to all in this baseball auction league.

Okay, ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT!! Who wants to join this crew for a shot at the $40,000 league prize?

We are now tentatively SOLD OUT for both Ultimate Auction Leagues, although I need to check with one owner to make sure of his status on Saturday night. This has been a solid season for the high-dollar private leagues and we are ECSTATIC to have two SOLD OUT Ultimate Auction Leagues and 1 SOLD OUT Ultimate Draft League. Great job everyone.

Not gonna happen til Alan sells the rights to "Who shot Deadheadz?" as seen on a different NFBC forum. Otherwise if I do get shot it would be a true story and therefore public domain.

Zero EV for Greenberg.

TNT already bought the rights, if I can make it into a true story. Dan has exclusive fictional publishing rights.

Yeah, sure. You can do another auction, but no way you can work in the MTM Super again this year since you were to be focusing on so many less drafts this season. Nice, Jupinka. Nice. And to think I've gone easy on you so far this year. Well, all that is about to change soon my friend, so be prepared. ;)

If Mrs Juprinka got any say in this then we wont be seeing Steve in this league, Just don't think she could handle her hubby losing all the blood it would take to compete in this league. :)

Actually no. I was given a line of credit from the bank. Once they found out that you and Particelli had teamed up together for the $200,000 prize in the Platinum, they were more than happy to front me the money I needed on our now assured winnings going up against you two. :P

Now go over to the MTM Super thread and sign up since you have nothing to do that first weekend in NYC anyway because you have so few drafts this year that you're supposedly not doing.

Okay, the Sunday NFBC Ultimate Auction League IS NOW SOLD OUT!!

Re: SOLD OUT: NFBC March 30th Ultimate Auction

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sat Mar 08, 2014 5:34 pm

Just a heads up that if anyone is interested in still being involved in the NFBC Ultimate Auction League, one owner on Saturday, March 29th is looking for a co-owner if interested. Contact me at [email protected] and I'll get you in touch with that owner. Thanks all and good luck to everyone in these two great auctions.
