Other than Zimmerman I like Gekko's start through five

I liked Christie's first two and team 15s first two

7 rounds in 35 minutes. Now this is how you do a DC Express League. Good job all.

IF Matt Adams doesn't have a great spring and Taveras does he could be on the bench or swinging a lot at AAA ... not a good pick. You don't have to reach in a DC just avoid brain cramps

I think the Choo pick in the 2nd was a huge reach as well. Guy cannot hit lefties which will only get worse with age.

We've had 49-50 viewers on the document most of the night, which has been fun. Hopefully there is some discussion on the BaseballHQ boards as well. It's been fun and I'm sure there will be even more discussion on the picks once the owners jump into this thread. We welcome their thoughts as well once the draft is over. Thanks all for participating and for watching.

The Corbin pick is underrated but great. Brad Miller doesn't have too much upside to be a rookie 11th rd pick. I really like getting Aramis at 11.9. Looks like he's completely healed and until last year he was a .300/25/90+ guy. Better than what you get from Zimmerman who is routinely going in the 4th rd.

Closers have been going early this year. Too many uncertainties in the position to not go after the top closers. I'm just surprised with Iwakuma in the 10th. He won't start to throw until around, will then have to build up his arm strength and ten go through some rehab games down in the minors before being brought back into the rotation. That could be June. Iwakuma has never been able to follow up a solid season without getting injured. May get 140 IPs from him

I like Medlen at 11.11, and as previously stated Aramis here is great value.

Compared to the DC's I've participated in - lots and lots of reaches wow
