ATTENTION NEW YORK: What's Available?

Post by Tom Kessenich » Wed Feb 19, 2014 10:05 am

We're inching closer to the first week of our Live Events and that means we're going to have big time fun in the Big Apple. NOW is a great time to sign up and get in on the fun so let's take a look at what's still available each day at the Hilton:

SATURDAY MARCH 22
Classic 1 pm ET - starting fifth league

SUNDAY MARCH 23
Primetime 1 pm ET - 10 spots left

It's possible we'll merge the Primetime in some fashion. The problem there is the two people on the Friday list can only do Friday. But let's see what the next few weeks brings before we make any decisions.

We've gotten five Classic leagues in NY the last few years so I'm settling for nothing less this year. :D Let's get the momentum going and have THREE great days of fun in New York. Don't forget, discount packages for our Live Events are still available. Sign up online or email me at [email protected] and I'll get you all set up.

Hey Joe Berg - don't they have airplane's where you live? Get your ass into NYC

Boy I would love too Ken. I'm not hiding in the online events, I'm just not a big fan of multiple leagues in the same room. Also, Chad and I are avoiding competing in the same leagues due to our platinum association.

I do see you and Mr. Christie in the 12 team Super and look forward to drafting live with you guys in Vegas, it's been to long.

I plan on putting NYC on my schedule next year, boy that will shake the group up ;)
Joe

Joe:

Jim is sharing the team with me, he won't be in Vegas but I'm hoping that my pal Joe Anthony
will shake free from his 5pm draft and sit in with me. Looking forward to the 12 Team Super.

Just busting about NYC and the OL's. Totally understand the reasons as well. Cya next month
pal.

With the New York events coming up soon I wanted to provide an update about where things are at. Here's the current breakdown of what's still available:

FRIDAY MARCH 21
$1,200 Auction 5 pm ET - 12 spots left
Primetime 6 pm ET - 10 spots left
Super 6 pm ET - 2 spots left

SATURDAY MARCH 22
Classic 1 pm ET - 10 spots left for fourth league
Primetime 7 pm ET - 6 spots left
Super 7 pm ET - 9 spots left (this will be a teleconference draft with Vegas and phone participants)

SUNDAY MARCH 23
Primetime 1 pm ET - 10 spots left

At this time, I don't think the remaining Friday night auction is going to sell out. The Friday night Primetime is in a tough spot as well because the two people who can draft at that time can only draft on Friday. One of the Sunday Primetime signups can only draft on Sunday. So we still have some work to do there. I'd still like to see us get a rush for all three Primetime days and there's still time to do that. But if you're looking for a NY Primetime with the most people on board right now the Saturday night option is the strongest bet.

We're getting closer to filling up our fourth Classic league in New York. We're aiming for five leagues there but if you want to ensure you're in a full league in the Big Apple NOW would be the time to jump in and grab a spot. Let's get seven strong signups to close out a fourth league and see where that takes us. Sign up on the site or email me at [email protected] if you're interested and I'll get you set up. Don't forget there are discounts still in place for multiple Main Event signups. So with 5 spots now left in Saturday night's Primetime you can come to the Hilton and play TWO and have a great day of NFBC action. :)

We've had some changes this weekend so the first post is updated with the current spots available for each event all three days in New York. If we get a strong push in the next two weeks we can have three sensational days in the Big Apple. So join the fun and grab one spot or more and let's fill more leagues up. :)

We are down to FOUR spots left for a fourth Classic league in New York. This could end up as our final FOUR spots in New York for the Classic so if you're looking for a shot at $125,000 NOW is the time to sign up and make sure you get in a full league in the Big Apple. Who wants the final FOUR spots? Let's sell 'em out. :)

Hal Goldstein will be my guest at 9:30 ET tonight on the STATS Fantasy Advantage. We'll not only talk about his thoughts on last week's Beat Chris Liss league but look ahead to all the live event action coming up in New York. Should be a lot of fun. Tune into Sirius 210/XM 87.

It's look like the last chance to draft in a LIVE event in New York will be the Primetime on Sunday March 23 at 1 pm ET. Let's get a strong push for this league and close out the weekend with some fun. Who wants to chase down $100,000 in the contest that will have a terrific ROI this season? Sign up online or email me at [email protected] and I'll get you all set up.

Tom,

On the Live Signup thread I am seeing Joe Thelan as entry number 58 in NY, leaving only two spots, if that is correct.
