My bio if required: I'm in a few slow drafts currently, most are courteous owners. We've exchanged texts and a few of us remind folks when it's their pick. There are a few that just won't check in, and won't text or use the message board. It's their money so they can do what they like but I'd prefer a better pace. If there's still room please add me to the league. Thanks!

Great news! I will join you guys for this one then, Joey.
HA!

Proof you're dodging me. No big deal. I understand. Your game can't handle the curves I'm throwin.

End of discussion.

Please count me in if there is still room. The 4-day draft organized by Dan had a great group and happy to draft again with MTM and some other familiar names here. And the $1K draft that has been going at about this pace should be over by then, so good timing too. Marc Perlmutter

Sorry, I was out with the family last night. THIS LEAGUE IS NOW SOLD OUT!! Great idea guys and enjoy this unique format. We'll start next week. Joe, when do you want the KDS deadline?

I think we have 15 + 1, so let me know if I have this right. Here's the lineup card:

NFBC $150 Draft Champions League, 5 Rounds Per Day
Starting Day After It Fills
1. Joe Berg
2. Marty Strege
3. Rick Hayden
4. Dan Kenyon
5. Kris Carroll
6. dzcondor
7. Josh Rasmussen
8. Michael Becker
9. Bill Strickler
10. Gregg Jahnke
11. Martin Lowy
12. Ty Parsons
13. Roy Ericson
14. Mike Massotto
15. Shawn Harvey
16. Marc Perlmutter

I'll get everyone signed up once we know the KDS deadline and we'll call this Feb. 28th DC Express 1. Thanks all and good luck.

No swaying needed, Ty. You already know what I think of your game. Top notch all the way around.
I knew I'd forget some names. You're on.

I like it. I guess we have an alternate as well. Let go ahead and set the KDS deadline for Wednesday with a Friday, February 28th start.

Please note that when setting your KDS that getting the number 1 or 15 spot will require a little extra effort on your part to help conclude each day and start the next. This will happen every other day from those positions. I don't think it'll be too tough though.

I'll see all of you in the draft room next Friday 8-)

Just giving you a hard time, Dan. Always enjoy your posts. Looking forward to this draft. Maybe the gods will count this one as our draft together and not force is to go at it in the Main for a 4th yr in a row.

Okay, I'm going to get everyone signed up for this one right now. But who is dzcondor on this list? I don't know who that is. Can someone help? Once we have that, we'll be ready for KDS this week and we'll set up the draft order. Thanks.

A reminder that dzcondor still has to sign up for this league. Nothing can be done as far as setting up the draft or starting the draft until he or she signs up. So please do that ASAP. Thanks.

Tom, I sent dzcondor a PM asking him to get a hold of you or Greg ASAP. I noticed when I went to his post that this was his first post, so I assume he is new. If we don't hear from him by tomorrow morning I think we should move on to our alternate.

If we need to push KDS deadline to Thursday with a Friday start I don't see that as being a big deal.

We always have Marc Perlmutter as an alternate waiting in the wings. 8-) So let's give condor a hard deadline. If he can't respond quickly to this, I would be a bit concerned about his ability to keep up with the draft pace in this one.

Lets give everyone until 5:00 EST tomorrow and then run it. This should be the last decision I make for the group. I assume the starting time on Friday will be the same as the other DC's at 1:00 EST.

Thanks Tom.

FYI - the draft order showing on your team page now is NOT the draft order. I just wanted to get everyone set up in the league. KDS will run at 5 pm ET today.

Also want to add that this is listed as a DC Express so we could set it up manually. But the draft will be a regular 8-hour version once it begins.

Thanks Guys. So far this has worked perfectly. We've had a hard stop after 5 rounds each day and after 5 days have 25 rounds in the books. It really helps to have a group of like minded drafters in this event. This is a great group.

If another one of these (starting this weekend?) is still a possibility, I'd be interested.
