Question - Who do I pick with the 3rd pick? I only had 2 players projected and now I have no idea what to do...

Pete
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

I will tell you who my number 6 pick is if I get the 5 before me. We could just do the draft right here

If you guys post 1 and 2 I will post 3. I have no idea how to win a "all stats count" league, but I will give my donation none-the-less.

I am thinking of going "outside the box" with pick 3. Certainly not taking someone likely drafted within the first 3 unless you guys want to drop Pujols to me. Even then, not sure he's the right pick.

Pete - Pick 3

Top Dawg,

I certainly don't know the right moves as I have never played in a stats count mid-season league, but, I do know that if Pujolis drops to 3, you would be nuts to ignore that gift from heaven

Yes - Too long for sure. None-the-less, it's behind us and now we can play out the season and see where it goes.

Good luck to all as well,

Pete Yeah, you guys sure had your technical glitches during the first half of the draft, but at least the second half went quickly. That one lasted about 30 minutes longer than usual, which isn't the end of the world. Good luck to everyone.

Remember now that the 23 guys you enter into your starting lineup on Thursday will be the 23 players who accumulate the first half stats. If I remember from last year, you'll see the first set of standings with those first half stats on Friday morning. Should be an interesting first day of standings.

Thanks again to Don Mathis for coming up with this innovative idea and to the 15 owners who braved the elements last night to participate in this mid-season league. Two more drafts tonight and then we'll play 'em out for all of the league prizes. Thanks everyone.

How do we set our lineup? I can't even get in .

Mock Draft Central only shows 28 of my players.

Mock Draft Central only shows 28 of my players. STATS will load everyone's teams today. At that point you'll see a link for this called $250 Don Mathis League within your MY TEAMS location and then you can go in and set your starting lineup. Don't worry, STATS got all 30 rounds from last night's draft and it will take some time before everyone's roster is loaded. Look for it soon.

Thanks to the Commish, Tom and Greg for being there the whole way through. Everything seemed to go wrong I even had my machine glitch and turn off it's WIFI antenna (and it is a brand new ibm t60).

Well, I have taken the plunge and gone and rated all the teams and added comments. I hope others will do as well. What I basically saw was a surprising numbers of teams either ditching either Starting Pitching, Closers, Speed, or even Power (ditching power REALLY surprised me). I think that there are some very unbalanced teams out there, but what do I know. All comments are made in a constructive way, I am sure all of you with bad grades will show me the errors of my ways.

My own gaps are WINS, somewhat light on Steals, and only 1 real closer (though 2 1st half closers).

Regards,

Spy aka Chris

I see that the Mathis league rosters are loaded (sort of). Just a heads-up that I have somebody else's players on my team (xyzzy mid-season), and all of my players on the "Asleep at the Keyboard" team. So, just in case folks think that the loading is finished for that league, things are not quite right at the moment ...

Thanks,

--- Mike

Mike, STATS is working to fix this problem. Bear with us for a bit and hopefully they'll get things fixed real soon. Sorry for the delay.
