Good deal!!! So, Mikey, are you gonna join our group for a few drinks afterward? Or is the "exclusive" MTM group going to a private party? :D ;)

In honor of the Old Billy (Burak) Baroo for selling out this bad boy! Let the games begin!!! :D

And while we're on the subject of golf, I figured I'd share the perfect woman to be Billy's personal draft assistant:

Alan,
After the way you threw me under the bus on your Super Auction thread, you'll be lucky if I ever speak to you again! :P
I'm all for a big get together of the two events if you'd like (since most of the guys doing the auction should have been in the MTM anyway ;) ). We usually do a late steak dinner and drinks. I'm looking at Ruth Chris which is nearby a few blocks away as you said. They're open until 11:00 p.m., so there should be plenty of time after the drafts wrap up to walk over. I will make a reservation for about 30 or so depending upon the head count you give me from the Super Auction. We can all meet down in the bar of the hotel prior before heading out depending on the time. Post your thoughts, and let's get the party conversation going, boys! 8-)

And now, no post of mine would be complete without the announcement of yet another one of our lovely personal draft assistants for the evening. So for Cassidy, I secured a hot Irish chick.

Image
Cheers, Dougie! She's a beauty. Beer goggles come included with this one. ;)

Sorry. Running a little low on funds, or I would have hired this one:

Serves you right for being "tentative" for so long!

So as Alan alluded to after all of his sobbing over on the Super Auction Thread (which is simply a cheap imitation of our elite and special league  ), the plan is that we will all assemble after these respective, phenomenal first weekend events (which are truly the highlights of the entire weekend by far (even though the MTM is much, much better, Lowy, you traitor :P ), and head out on the town for some drinks, great food, and great company. Ruth Chris Steak House is the destination which is walking distance just a few blocks away. I'll make sure that we have a wheelchair for Thelen if need be. :P  We'll coordinate the logistics of this as we get closer to the the day of the events, but for now, I just want to get a head count including any significant others who may be joining us for this get together as well (although why they would want to subject themselves to this, I have no idea  ). I would like to make a reservation in advance. The kitchen is open until 11:00 p.m. on Friday nights, and I'm going to look into a private dining room for all of us. So let me know as soon as possible. It looks as though as of now, we have 12 plus Tom Kessenich from the Super Auction, although he may be bringing a lady of the evening from what I've been told, so hopefully she's had all of her shots and doesn't have an appetite the size of her vagina.

So who's in for the after party, boys? 8-)

Mike.. if we were to imitate the MTM Super, we would be calling it the BK Mets Super Auction. But there was no need to do that with our event. We didn't need naked women and perks to sell out our auction ;) ;) . I only added a few perks AFTER the auction was sold out, to honor the great event and group of guys we have. I don't want credit for anything with our event as it would stand as a great event, with or without me. Bottom line is, you have a great group of guys and so do we. There is no intention to imitate or compare. Good luck with your event and see you there! :D

Ummmm, speak for yourself Alan. :?

Mikey, I feel kinda bad that this poor girl lost out on an employment opportunity the night of the NYC BK Mets Super Auction/MtM Invitional Super bonanza all due to Doug Cassidy's thoughtless long term tentative status and through no fault of her own.

Image

Therefore, I'm willing to boot Saxton from his Auction sticker boy duties for one night and to allow this poor girl who's just trying to make a living facilitate our Auction. I think it only fair. I know, I'm thoughtful and selfless that way.

PS... I think she should wear the hat. It would bring a sense of professionalism to the proceedings. ;)

Lowry,
Easy for you to forget I am kicking your butt during super auction as a competitor. But you are right I could probably do stickers at same time and beat you. Bring the girl tho. The more eye candy the better

Since I think I am the only one who has interests in both these events and would love everyone to get together since I'm staying in NY, from what I'm hearing is a lot of people from the super auction don't want to go out late for steaks. I don't think its a requirement for everyone to attend like MTM said whoever wants to go out for Steaks let him know and he will set up a reservation and if everyone else wants to goto a bar for drinks then once we finish eating our steaks we can meet up. I don't know why this is so complicated

Personally I would like a steak after drafting for 10 hours so sign me up!

Agreed.. I sent a note to everyone in the auction to let Mike know if they want to go out for steaks and the rest will go over to the local pub for apps and drinks..

Just heard from Joe Thelen. He told me that as long as I have them cut his steak into really small pieces, he'll be there.

Okay, the planning is in full swing for the 3rd Annual MTM Super post-event festivities which are going to be held at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse just a few blocks away from the hotel at about 10:30 p.m. or so after we wrap up the draft. We're starting at 6:00 p.m. with the live KDS draw as is customary (shortly after my coronation as 2013 League Champion  ), so we should be drafting like 6:15-6:30 at the absolute latest. We will be joined by some of the participants who are drafting in the Super Auction that same night which should be wrapping up at about the same time. I will give everyone the logistics at the event itself, but for now, I need a head count (including guests if any) who will be attending. I have reserved a private room that seats about 30+ (we can go bigger if we need to), and there is a minimum, so the sooner you guys can let me know, the better if I haven't already heard from you. I will post an attendees list soon.

Here's what the room looks like:

Here's what the steak looks like:

And here's what you'll look like if you tell me you'll be there and don't show up and I'm left with paying the bill if we don't reach our guaranteed minimum:

Actually that's a picture of Magner after one steak too many again. :P

Just kidding...no way a picture of a guy that skinny could possibly be Sack Magner.

(I posted this in the Super Auction thread as well)

And it's also been brought to my attention that I have left out Mr. Eddie Gillis, one our esteemed charter members in arranging for his personal draft assistant. This was terrible on my part, so to make it up to him, rather just one personal assistant, I hired him a couple of hot twins. 8-)

Who new she was separated at birth?! Trying to figure out if was the evil or the good twin who survived.

Perhaps I'll just go with these two and take my chances.

These are for Gillis. You can thank me later after you're done with your premature ejaculation. :o
