Re: 56 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Feb 13, 2014 2:51 pm

It's great to see continued support for both Main Events by our veteran owners and we now have 58 owners with a shot at $300,000+ in prizes. Steve Fiore finished 3rd in the NFBC XII last year and he returns to Las Vegas for both Main Events on the Second Weekend. We've started our 6th Main Event league in Las Vegas and hope to have 7 or more leagues drafting at once on that day at the Bellagio. Let's keep things rolling.

Thanks all. Check out the list above for those owners who have jumped in with entries in both formats.

Greg, is there a Main Event combined standings prize? I know there's one combo, just can't remember what it is.

We're glad to welcome NFBC veteran John Rundle to both Main Events again this year. John is drafting both of them Online. It's good to see so many NFBC veterans jumping into both events and hopefully the Primetime will also bring in many new players to our national contests. Good start here with 60 teams in both Mains. Thanks all.

Back for an 11th season of drafting in Las Vegas are the brothers' tag team of Gregory & Phil Glukhovsky of West Hills, California. They were with us for the very first NFBC AL Auction and Main Event at the Rio in Las Vegas, showing up a little late for our debut Main Event!! But they are great and they've been good sports and league champions through it all. They are back for both Main Events and the Auction Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on March 28-30. Thanks guys and welcome back to the Mad Russians!!

It's great to have NFBC Charter Member Michael Edelman back for both Main Events in New York City and in line for the $300,000 in prizes. Michael also grabbed a pair of Main Event Online teams as our signature event is really gaining steam this week. Thanks Mike and best of luck once again.

We're glad to add two more former national champions to the Main Event doubleheader. David DiDonato won our 2006 Main Event and the $100,000 grand prize and he's back for two Mains and a Primetime this year. David grabbed a spot in the Wednesday, March 26th Main Event Online, which is close to filling up its second league, and he jumped into the Tuesday, March 25th Primetime Online that also is moving closer to a full league. Welcome aboard Champ.

Jeff Butler won the NFBC XII and that $50,000 grand prize in 2012 and in fact he was leading the NFBC XII and the Main Event in September of that year. He had a real shot at the $75,000 cash bonus that year. He's back again this year for a shot at $225,000 in grand prizes and that same $75,000 cash bonus. Welcome back Champ and good luck in trying to repeat that performance this year.

We're getting some love for the Primetime this week. Let's keep the momentum going. Thanks all.

We're glad to welcome NFBC veterans Marty Bedell and Dusty Wagner to both Main Events today. In fact, they both took the NFBC Primetime Online on Sunday, March 30th at 1 pm ET to fill up that first league. We'll definitely add a second league at that date and time Online and keep things rolling there for the Primetime on Second Weekend. Thanks guys.

Both Main Events are getting signups each day, so keep an eye on the signup list. The First Weekend Main Event Online is getting closer to our 2nd full league and if you want to guarantee a spot in a fully Online league please don't wait too long there. The first 30 owners in are guaranteed a spot in a fully Online league for that first Main Event. Let's do it.

Thanks all and let's keep adding to this list. Both Main Events are off to great starts.

It's great to welcome back NFBC veteran Seth Poppel and his son Jared for both Main Events this year as they are doing both Online. And Greg Headrick just doubled up on a pair of Primetimes to go with his Main Events, giving us 72 owners with teams in both Mains. Good job all as both Mains have had great weeks. Spring training must be right around the corner because our NFBC veterans are getting baseball fever!!! Good job all.

Re: 85 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Mar 04, 2014 8:31 am

We now have 85 owners who have a legitimate shot at the $75,000 cash bonus with the NFBC Primetime now just over 150 teams. If you win your league in the NFBC Primetime, you have a legitimate shot this year at the $100,000 grand prize, and if you also win your league in the NFBC Main Event the bonus is within reach. With the NFBC Primetime not expected to sell out, this bonus is looking better and better. Consider a Primetime if you already have an NFBC Main Event, and vice versa.

Here's an updated list of the owners who are in line for the $75,000 cash bonus and a $300,000+ payday:

We're closing in on 100 owners with teams in both Main Events. Someone on this list has a good shot at winning $225,000 in grand prizes and the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overalls. Who else wants to join in the fun?

Thanks all and good luck.

We're nearing 100 teams now doing both Main Events as Chad Schroeder just jumped into a couple of Primetimes. Welcome back CHAMP and thanks for the support again. We'll see you in Las Vegas for the Platinum and more.

We're still under 200 teams for the NFBC Primetime, so the odds of winning both Mains has never been better. Several of the Primetime Online leagues are close to filling, so check out those and grab a spot before they close. Thanks all for the support.

Re: 110 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Mar 17, 2014 8:07 pm

With so many Main Event and Primetime signups in the last week, it's been hard to keep up with the owners in line for all 3 $75,000 cash bonuses. I hope I didn't miss anyone on this thread, but I think we have at least 110 combinations of owners with teams in the Main Event and a team in the Primetime. The three bonuses include:

$75,000 cash bonus for winning the Main Event overall and the Primetime overall

$75,000 cash bonus for winning Main Event and Rotowire Online Championship overalls

$75,000 cash bonus for winning Primetime and Rotowire Online Championship overalls

Lindy Hinkelman won the $75,000 cash bonus in 2009 and it's time for someone else to win one or more of these. Good luck to all and don't be afraid to dip into multiple events for a shot at these great bonuses.
