SOLD OUT: March 23rd 9 pm ET Primetime

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Mar 13, 2014 3:26 pm

I know a lot of NFBC owners had set aside time on Sunday, March 23rd for a high-stakes baseball draft and some folks quickly looked to us for a league when the FBPC folded. We already filled up one NFBC Primetime Online at 1 pm ET, but three owners today expressed interest in a second league. If you are interested in this date and time, let us know or sign up online and we'll see if we can get to 12 owners again. Here's the current signup list:

NFBC PRIMETIME ONLINE
Sunday, March 23, 1 p.m. ET
1. Jeffrey Cook, Little Valley, New York
2. Michael Cameron, Encinitas, California
3. Eric Heberlig, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania
4. James Stanard, Edwards, Colorado
5. Jeff Dobies, Farmingville, New York
6. Dave Potts, Auburn, Alabama
7. William Smith, Cincinnati, Ohio
8. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
9. Joe Kruk, Levittown, New York
10. Gregg Janoff, Riverside, California
11. Doug Cassidy, Scarsdale, New York
12. James Bradtke, Chevy Chase, Maryland

NFBC Primetime Online
Sunday, March 23rd, 8 pm ET
1. Derek Pierson
2. Michael Crescenzi
3. Jeff Dawson
4. Michael O'Brien
5. Jeff Dobies
6. Glenn Lowy if 9 pm ET start.....
7. Abdulaziz Madani
8. Bob Particelli
9. Kris Carroll
10. John Pausma
11. Eric Heberlig
12. Roger Martin

Jeff Dobies has asked if we would also add an NFBC Primetime Online on Monday, March 24th at 8 pm PT. Hey, if there's interest we'll definitely add it. However, we still have several other dates with openings and I'd love to fill them first. But if demand is there on the 24th, we'll offer it.

NFBC PRIMETIME ONLINE
Monday, March 24th, 8 pm ET
1. Jeff Dobies

Okay, contact me if any of these dates appeal to you. Thanks all and let's keep the Primetime rolling.

Would also do another one on the 23rd at 7 or 8 if not Monday night.

I'd imagine there might be 113 players looking for spots now.

Well, the one good thing to come out of this is it'll help me live up to my promise to keep teams down this year.
Well not really down, but less up.

I guess there's always a silver lining. :?

I have interest, but not at 1pm ET. I was signed up for the 8pm ET FBPC draft, and therefore have that time open. If you offer a Primetime at that time, you can sign me up. But I'll be golfing at 1pm ET. I would much rather give my $ to you guys anyway, I was just trying to take advantage of that great ROI.

Oh, I didn't even realize what time that draft was. Okay, let's create a product like that for 8 pm ET on Sunday, March 23rd. I'll check with the other owners who said they wanted in on this date and I bet that time works for them. They are coming over for the same reason. Okay, let's do it.

And shut up about golfing Michael. We won't see grass here in Wisconsin until mid-April at best and the golf courses will be wet until May. This will be a very short golf season here. Well, that happens when you have the longest winter in the history of the Midwest/East Coast.

I thought the golfing comment might get a reaction out of you :D Looking forward to doing a Primetime on the 23rd now instead of the FBPC

LOL Jeff.... You came to me to help fill this league before even Greg did!!!

Once the wifey heard that my Sunday FBPC was canceled, she jumped in on a planned night out with her friends that she had to originally pass on so that I could draft. She beat you and Greg to the punch. :D Which means, I've got baby duties that night. They'll still be up at 8pm. Now 9pm....that's doable. Make it happen Mr. Dobies. So sayeth the Prima Donna. :P

Okay, it looks like a new league has broken out. The East Coast guys want another new battlefield and we'll provide it. Sunday night sounds good to me. I'll email the 8 on this list and see if we can do a late night one. Tom may have to create a new product for the 9 pm ET start if we go that way, so don't sign up just yet. We'll take care of that once we figure this out. But it sure looks like a go. Thanks all and hang on for a bit.

Here's the current signup list, not exactly knowing the start time yet:

Okay, everyone has agreed to the 9 pm ET start time for this one. We now have 10 of 12 spots filled and everyone agreed to the later start to help out Mr. Lowy. Now let's hope he gets the twins to sleep in time with no problems!! Great job everyone adjusting the schedules and it seems like most guys also wanted the later starter time. Thanks all.

NOW ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT for this Sunday Night Primetime Special!! You won't find a tougher league with nicer guys!!! Enjoy.

Greg, they just wanted to keep my dead money in the league. :(

Still, thanks everyone. I really appreciate the flexibility. This looks like one helluva challenging and fun league. Just two more!! Let's get there, but we have too many sharks in this league. We need at least one fish. Massotto?
