A little birdie told me there are two catchers you REALLY love this year. As u create your blueprint for the auction, make sure to include an extra $5 (per catcher) for my partner and I sticking you with inflated costs. T.I.L.T.

LOL...a little birdie told ya huh? You go with that theory my friend. I'd beware who you try to price enforce when bidding against me. Make sure you want who you're bidding on. ;)

Birdie said u get either one of those catchers or both of them in over 90% of your drafts. My partner and I just need to bail b4 you stick us. I think I know your breaking point, eh, price point

You worry about crap like that during the auction Mark and you won't have a winning team

I'm not one to worry about someone seeing my early season drafts and using them against me later on. Hence never feeling the need to use a team name along the lines of "Anonymous X". ;)

Still, I find it amusing that you think the way I drafted in a $350 12-team snake draft (or two ;) ) would have any correlation to how I intend to bid in a $2500 Super Auction. Or that you believe anything you write here would have any effect on how I intend to approach this auction. After all, you can't affect the plan of someone who doesn't have one.

Good luck Gekko my friend. I wouldn't waste your mind games on me. You have much bigger and more talented fish to fry.

Dude, trust me I know. The games are on. Because in two days, the real fun begins. ;)

I can't wait my friend. Looking forward to seeing you again in the Hilton war room and the challenge of taking you and the other NYC Auction pros on.

some players whose worth should exceed their pricepoints (sometimes by a lot)...

Mike Moustakas - ya, i know they are spring numbers, but his cant be ignored. light bulb came on. can buy him dirt cheap and he fills a scarce position

Alex Wood - MONEY. Hasnt allowed a run this spring. check out minor league numbers. between AA and AAA last year had a SUB 1.00 whip along with a microscopic 1.31 ERA. MONEY. and surprisingly, he's another dirt cheap guy. HELLO fantasy world. what are you waiting for?

Tyler Skaggs - Lefty with his fastball back in mid 90's. ADP = left for dead. Sign me up

Ivan  Nova - Having a very impressive spring after last year's semi-breakout. this year he comes full circle.

Hisashi Iwakuma - sure he his an injury concern, but it's not an elbow/shoulder. finger should be good to go soon. might only miss 2 starts. buy at discount NOW

Jose Bautista - 5HR already this spring. with a healthy season, you are looking at a chris davis or better season potential. can't believe i got him in the auction 2 months ago for a mere $18. SOLID GOLD

sorry for the ramblings. i do have a 9 page spread i wrote up a couple months ago about breakout players for 2014. maybe i'll release it after all the drafts are over

Gekko is so full of it if he ever took his hat off the shit would come out like a geyser.

ST means nothing...i personally watched Greg & Tom's Brewers DESTROY BWebb to the tune of about 8-9 runs in 2 IP a few yrs ago and then he went out and won the Cy Young.

Ask yourself why ? Why the hell would he be touting players he covets just days before $ drafts ? I'll help you guppies out...he doesn't want them ! Take Moustakas for ex. it doesn't take a genius to predict he'll play better than last yr, 12 hr's, wow! you wanna know another 3B who hit 12 hr's last yr (in about 200 less ab's) Luis Valbuena ! REVVV UP THE FAAAB ENGINES!!!

This is the same guy who was all over Hosmer 2 yrs ago, how'd that work out ? Nobody remembers those predictions. Lastings Milledge anyone ? Please. He doesn't even watch baseball doncha know, just reads the boxscores! Told me once a SP he had was gettin' squeezed, I said you saw that in the boxscores ! BULLSHITTER.

If Moose does turn it around than Gekkodamus will say I told you so, but if he sucks than he'll laugh that you guppies took the bait. Win-win for him.

Captain Anonymous or should I call you Texaco Station, smart players know you for what you are. Don't kid yourself.

Don't believe a word this chump says. You been warned.

Hosmer was money last year, and rightfully so, he is money this year. I was right on the player, save for one year.

Mike Moustakas is one of the best bets to be a player who produces stats equivalent to being taken 10 rounds earlier. spring training stats tell the story. don't gloss over his improved batting eye. K rate is the telling stat. WAY down this spring. couple that with his .921 SLG and we are realistically looking at 20HR - 25HR, with a decent batting average and 5+ sb

I was referring to the 2012 version of Hosmer who most certainly was NOT money. Point taken about ST, I think it is shows you more about hitters than pitchers, esp. veteran pitchers w/ assured roles. If they struggle it's likey due to tinkering w/ a new pitch.

I'm just (as you said to Glenn) havin' some fun w/ ya ;) Speaking of Mr. Glenn, I sure wish that I could enter $350 contests just to mislead my competition for the high dollar ones later

You are truly one of the best at this hobby of ours and if I had a vote you'd be joining Shawn, Steve, & Lindy in the NFBC HOF.

There are others too, but I get their real names mixed up w/ their MSG BRD names, and some are truly smart and don't even bother w/ this crap

Hey Rockit, how are ya Bud? You'd have plenty of dough to spread around here if you didn't spend all your time blowing wads of green on those daily games you so love. ;)

Now about those $350's....

I think you have me wrong. There's no misleading involved. However, there is certainly a difference in thinking, strategies, risk tolerance, etc. when trying to win a lower entry fee Overall against 1200-1500 other entrants when compared to trying to win a huge entry fee independent league against only 14 others.

Think of it as the different daily game strategy you'd utilize when going against 2000 entries in a $1 tournament versus a $500 50/50 against 5 other guys.

That said, I thought I read somewhere no Vegas for you this year. Too bad Bud. Hopefully I'll catch you around next year.

Alas it's true, you will not see the Rockit in Vegas this yr...who doesn't love to refer to themselves in the 3rd like Ricky

Hope to be back next yr, we'll see how DFS treats me (screw u J-Smoov, he's a basketball player Dan, plays quite well WHEN NOT IN MY L/U  )

When I mentioned the HOF for Mark (a Barry Bondsian if there ever was one ;) ) than Dan & Glenn are certainly worthy for their past success too. Many probably think that Doughboys writes alot, sure seems like a nice guy....he is, and he'll kick your teeth in too  at least when it comes to winning in fantasy baseball.

Same goes for Mr. Aw Shucks poor me, Glenn X, at least he's smiling while he kills ya !

I'll miss seeing you guys, but there's always next yr....rt Cubs fans :D

* Have a great pic of the Doughboy, bag of Doritos near by of course, and the stupid error message about file being too big comes up  get that fixed Greg, would ya! Never mind Glenn's FAAB talk, priorities man!
