I noticed that too. My last two picks should be Gordon Beckham and Jose Tabata. Also, I have Gregory Polanco NOT Placido Polanco.

Greg,

They did fix the last two rounds but the fix for Gregory Polanco is still incorrect. They originally had entered Placido Polanco. I spoke with Javier today and he said it was fixed but it is not. It was "fixed," but Gregor Blanco was entered incorrectly instead of Gregory Polanco. At your convenience please correct this. Thanks.

I must say....

and I'm not one to fan the rumor mill (ok, that's a lie)....BUT....the Drafts in Chicago were located minutes from the STATS home office...

And as we began the Auction in Chicago there was a group of 7-8 strangers huddled in the back. I even said to Jack Haan, sitting next to me, who are these people and why are they watching us. As the draft began, Dean Peterson introduced them as part of the STATS IT team (yes, the much-maligned on these Message Boards, IT team). They do exist and they have faces and are real human beings. And I'm sure they were just taking a quick break from their 16-hour shifts in revamping the FAAB system.

But it got me wondering. Why were they there? And, more specifically, why were they watching how the auction unfolded? I'm quite sure they were not interested in what Mike Trout and Yordano Ventura would go for. No. I could only speculate that they may be in the infancy stages of creating AUCTION SOFTWARE. I really didn't give it much thought really until just now, so I thought I would share this with everyone and be the first to start the rumors.

And, most importantly, it also made realize how much work goes into running this event, and how many people really care about this contest and care about making it even better. Thanks to everyone for a great time in Chicago and Greg and Tom and STATS for providing the "drug" for my addiction. I'm hooked.

P.S. And keep in mind before anyone rips the IT team, it does exist, and they are real people. I can confirm that. Whether Auction Software is being developed, that I cannot confirm but it sure is fun to speculate.

Chicago was awesome once again. Great group of owners! Note to anyone drafting in Chicago....be prepared for a bellowing "HE GONE" from Coz if you try drafting somebody that was picked already. Dean and crew.....great job! Next year....high def projector and let's do some work on those stickers. Shouldn't be all that hard to get the stickers the right colors and design them to be more readable.
