Official rules : Bidding Time Frame: The NFBC bidding process will start the week before Opening Day and run for the first time on Sunday, March 30. FAAB will run every week from Week 1 through Week 26 (there is no new FAAB period if there are one or more regular-season MLB tie-breaker games). Bids will be accepted on the league website from Monday at 3 PM ET until Sunday at(((((((((( 10 PM ET)))))))))))) in each of these weeks

League FAAB page : A player must be on a 25-man major-league roster or once on an NFBC team in your league to be listed as a free agent below. The player pool is deemed closed of new free agents at 7 a.m. ET on Sundays.
The next free agent deadline is March 30 at ((((((((((((8:00 pm ET))))))))))))))))

It's been widely advertised by Greg that the new FAAB deadline is 10pm ET so the other time you're seeing is obviously been overlooked.

There are still some pages which show $375 Draft Champions leagues and the DC Overall grand prize as $16,000 too. It's all because the IT guys at STATS are busy with the important upgrades such as HTML5 and new FAAB interfaces. There's no time to be poking through every link looking for typos and outdated numbers. That's for the offseason.

considering I rarely visit the message boards during the off season where a decision may have been made, I would consider the time listed on the website to be accurate unless notified otherwise. The FAAB page on each of my league states 8:00pm Eastern

I agree that it would be reasonable to assume the time listed on the free agency page is correct. In this case, however, it is not. As Deadheadz notes, the change to the FAAB deadline from 8 pm EST to 10 pm EST was well-discussed on the message boards. I believe the time change has been reflected on all the rules for leagues with FAAB. Not sure why the web page itself still has the old time, but I'm pretty sure it is just an accidental oversight.
