Sandy Koufax -- arthritis in elbow --- 48 year DL list. OK to drop from all fantasy rosters.

Can't we just place him on one of our DL slots?TOXIC ASSETS wrote:Sandy Koufax -- arthritis in elbow --- 48 year DL list. OK to drop from all fantasy rosters.

Mike Napoli, another head first slide into 2B, dislocates finger.
Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
Josh Johnson to see Dr. Andrews. Is this a surprise to any?
Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
Disappointing, a big boost for the Padres if he could've pitched this season.GetALife wrote:Josh Johnson to see Dr. Andrews. Is this a surprise to any?

Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
few lineups already posted and more guys getting the Obligatory REST day... Players these days are seemingly incapable of playing more than 5 days in row.... Braun thumb acting up too- hes not playing today after not looking good the past 2 games.. He'll have surgery at some point this year is my guess...
Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
I vote Brian Roberts.Steel Lugnuts wrote:LOL because I don't have him this year but have in the past!Just seems par for the course the way things have gone this year. Perhaps we should start a vote to see who will be the next one to go on the DL.
Way over due.
Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
My vote goes to Evan Longoria.
It's just a matter of time so why not today?

Do not even go there....
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Calhoun officially pushed me over the line from deeply annoyed to almost amused. I don't know who will be next, but I'm certain I'll own him across multiple teams.

Then it might be time to make your way to your local mlb stadium and perform this act to take out your anger turned to amusement:Yah Mule wrote:Calhoun officially pushed me over the line from deeply annoyed to almost amused. Would the guy in the suit announcing the start be Greg or Tom? "We would like everyone to play fantasy baseball in this country."

Maybe I should change it from Longo to Liriano. The guy's having trouble throwing strikes early today vs Reds. Wonder if he's pitching hurt?

On my short list of great baseball movies. Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
The hell with daily fantasy teams on those sites....let's start a site where you can put in a full lineup everyday and whoever loses the most guys to injury wins. If it is announced after the game the player is injury before the next game, even if he finished; it will still count. All we need is a platform for this.Yah Mule wrote:We really do need an up to the minute ticker. Unbelievable.Dickie V wrote:Joe Kelly

Pulled Hamstring running to 1st... In the last 5 years, the month, by a significant margin, for the most pulled, strained, Torn Hamstrings/injuries is the Month of May, only 2 weeks to go...lolDickie V wrote:Joe Kelly
