FAAB processing time
Is there any reason we have any delay? I can't imagine the bids are all reviewed with the sheer amount of FAAB leagues. I'm enjoying the new 10PM EST deadline but it would be great to have the bids done by 10:05PM and start working on lineups. I know this has been brought up before. Can this be done? Thanks

Re: FAAB processing time
I agree 100%. We don't need the delay anymore. What happened 4 years ago that first FAAB with Fanball wouldn't have been prevented with a delay anyway. What's the point of keeping us waiting?
Re: FAAB processing time
Maybe the new version of the mobile NFBC app will have micro transactions for anyone who's willing to pay to have the FAAB results 30 mins before everyone else.

Re: FAAB processing time
3rd week of FAAB. 40 minutes in, and still no results. It really is awful. ESPN - instantaneous. CBS - instantaneous. MFL - instantaneous.

Re: FAAB processing time
If other sites (with more leagues than the nfbc) can get this done in one minute, why does it take the nfbc 30-40 minutes? Very frustrating when I hear stuff like that

Re: FAAB processing time
I will talk with IT about this and see if we can release these results quicker. They take only a matter of minutes to process, so I'm not sure what the delay is. We will look into this immediately and see if we can shorten the delay time and get these results posted sooner. We'll see what we can do to speed this up.Red Sox Nation- wrote:Is there any reason we have any delay? I can't imagine the bids are all reviewed with the sheer amount of FAAB leagues. Re: FAAB processing time
We have looked at this and will reduce the buffer starting next week. We need to build a piece within our Admin tools first just in case there are issues just before the deadline, but we understand the desire to get these picks quicker and will have results much, much quicker starting next Sunday. It looks like all results should be available within 15 minutes or so starting next week. Thanks all for the feedback.Red Sox Nation- wrote:Is there any reason we have any delay? Re: FAAB processing time
If we could keep it under 5 minutes, even better. Still, thanks for the big improvement Greg. It was very needed.
Re: FAAB processing time
Nothing pisses me off more than that 30 minute "buffer." Nowhere in the industry is this standard. Especially Sunday when told it would be a 15 minute buffer previously and then to be constantly checking and nothing, and no mention of a problem or delay. This type of stuff, seemingly minor, is unbelievably aggravating as a player. I agree 5 minutes is plenty. Get those waiver picks to us ASAP. Loving the new FAAB time though, long overdue change.

Re: FAAB processing time
It's still 2 hours later than we got the results last year.
I realize that I was the only one not wanting that change.
I'm all for immediate results. I just find it ironic that those that fought so hard for additional time on Sunday's are now complaining about the amount of time they have to set their lineups before bedtime.

Re: FAAB processing time
No better for me. But I just have a couple lowly, last weekend OC teams.

Re: FAAB processing time
All teams should have been out by 10:20 pm ET last night. Going forward you will not have a lag on Sundays. We will change the run process every Sunday going forward so that you have results by 10:15 pm ET. We'll build that work-around this week. The Mighty Men wrote:No better for me.
