Re: Friday Fanduel/NFBC Contest For Main Event Seat
Is the link going to be posted here on the message boards? Thanks in advance, Pete.
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Yes, I'll post here and put it on your team pages as well under the Commissioner notes. I'll post it as soon as I get it from Fanduel. We're only going to take 70 teams and only from our NFBC group. This link isn't going out to Fanduel's group. Look for it later today. Thanks.Top Dawg wrote:Is the link going to be posted here on the message boards? Thanks in advance, Pete.

Would it be helpful for us to set up a Fan Duel account now in advance?

If you want to, but I think you should be fine to do that tonight while signing up for this contest. I would be shocked and very happy if these spots went that fast. If they do, plan on this contest EVERY FRIDAY!!Coach2780 wrote:Would it be helpful for us to set up a Fan Duel account now in advance?

No response? I'll take that to mean one person can enter multiple times...think I'll pass this time around and see how it goes, GL.Steel Lugnuts wrote:So can someone with deep pockets enter multiple times or is this 70 different entries?

Re: Friday Fanduel/NFBC Contest For Main Event Seat
Sorry, I missed this question. I think Fanduel has a limit of 15% of entries for any of their contests by one owner. They are setting this up, so I assume that will be in place again. But it doesn't make sense for someone to buy all 70 entries since it would cost more to buy all the entries than the prize is worth. The entry as we have stated is a Main Event with a $1,600 value, so plan accordingly. I think we'll have plenty of different NFBC owners in this contest with a shot at next year's Main Event entry for just $25. Not a bad way to spend a Friday night.Steel Lugnuts wrote:No response? For what it's worth, all of the 100 total entry leagues I've ever played on FD had a limit of 1 entry per person.
I think the multi entry leagues are only the massive leagues. I could be wrong.
Maybe Steel Lugnuts will enter if he knows I'm part of the field? My FanDuel/NFBC pre-season bonus remnants will just cover the entry fee.

I believe you are correct DH, I don't recall seeing multiple entries in the 100 entry leagues, but the leagues with thousands of entries do allow multiple entries.Deadheadz wrote:For what it's worth, all of the 100 total entry leagues I've ever played on FD had a limit of 1 entry per person.

Greg, I realize no one would purchase all 70

EDIT: I'm currently in a league with over 8000 entries, sitting in 4893 place, got 'em right where I want 'em!

Hey, I came in 2nd twice in the 100 entry leagues, too bad it was only for $1 and $2!

Hey DH, if you take 69 of the entries and I have one, I like my chances!Deadheadz wrote:For what it's worth, all of the 100 total entry leagues I've ever played on FD had a limit of 1 entry per person.

Re: Friday Fanduel/NFBC Contest For Main Event Seat
Greg, what's the number of entries needed to run the game Friday?
I've been in 100 player leagues on FD which didn't fill so they cancelled the game.
Only one entry for me, Lugs, even if you're allowed 2+.
It's winner-take-all so multiple entries guarantees you'll lose.

70 max. Fanduel is running it no matter what we finish with to get this started with our NFBC owners and to hopefully make this a regular Friday Night Special. Let's fill it up.Deadheadz wrote:Greg, what's the number of entries needed to run the game Friday?

Love this idea. I know I will probably play as many weeks as they offer it. Guessing there will be a lot of interest in this concept and get us addicted to the daily games as well. Just what I need, more fantasy crap to agonize over...I mean enjoy. Daily.

Admittedly it's a slow Thursday might but the suspense is killing me.
Fanduel account setup and funded. Just waiting to donate to someone else's main. Let's do this!

Locked and loaded here also Roger, out of boredom and curiosity I started a Fan Duel account. They are making money off of our impatience! lol
Just hoping the link goes up before it is my turn to put my son to sleep and I can't get to a computer for a short while! SMH
