I don't see Leury Garcia on the list. He only needs nine more pitching appearances to gain pitching elgibility.

Updates including many fringe players added. They're getting PA now that everyone else is on the DL.

NFBC shows Solarte eligible at 2B/3B - the place I'm finding the easiest for tracking eligibility is CBS but for some reason they have Solarte as 3B/OF eligible.

Olt should be 1B/3B

He was never eligible at 2b .... started year as 1b only and added 3b

VMart was a pretty big reason I started this thread. At least 5 or 6 of my teams have him "clogging up" the Util slot, as Mr. Gekko would say. Would be nice to see him get catcher eligibility by Aug 1st and play at least 20 at 1B before the season ends.

Brett Lawrie, 2b, 2 games.

And just to nit pick the official scorers out there, when Lawrie and other thirdbasemen are shifted to the shortstop's left in a defensive alignment, are they not playing something other than thirdbase?

Good question.
These players are not playing another position. They are playing their same position, only aligned differently. It is similar to when a Manager brings in an outfielder to be a fifth infielder. That outfielder does not receive 'credit' for the playing of any infield position.

I've heard discussions about how to score the play when the SS makes a put out on a popped fly ball foul on the first base side up against the seats.

If the lineup card says a player is the SS, it's still F6 regardless of where he's lined up or catches the ball. Not my opinion, just telling you what I heard on the topic.

This would be nice flexibility, but he's already raised a stink about it.

“I’m a third baseman,” he said. “I’m not a third base/second base type of guy. I’m a third baseman and that’s my position.

“I’m not necessarily going over thinking I’m going to be Chase Utley tonight. I’m going to try to make the routine play and try to roll a double play if we can. It’s for the team and if we can get an extra bat in there and it gives us a chance to win, then that’s what it has to be.”

I'm loving that 8th game of eligibility...not all Chris' created equal...id much rather be playing Chris Young over Chris Johnson..or even EYjr. If he gets back into the rotation....not that he was a world beater but Chris Johnson has been downright not good so far

Prob 2-3 weeks away. He'll gain 2b eligibility if he likes it or not.

Copy and pasting to the second page would be useful.
Also, Solarte has snuck in five apps at SS.
