Win A Free Main Event Entry Friday Night On Fanduel

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed May 14, 2014 1:39 pm

Just a heads up that we'll run another $25 entry fee Fanduel contest on Friday night for a 2015 NFBC Main Event entry. This one will again consist of 72 spots with one winner earning a spot in the 2015 Main Event or NFBC Primetime. Total value is worth $1,600.

Here's the link to the contest:

https://www.fanduel.com/e/Game/MLB_Sala ... f3363c3e37

That will allow us to fill it up earlier. First 72 entries get in. Good luck all and enjoy and remember this is only open to our NFBC owners.

NFBC owners who have already won 2015 NFBC Main Event entries include:

1. Bryan Sannito
2. Todd Zola
3. Jonathan Kent
4. Anthony Palavis/Eric Burd

Good luck all and enjoy.

Is anybody else having problems with the link to this contest? It shuts down my Firefox browser when I go to it. Still 36 spots left in this contest.

I've only ever used FanDuel from Safari on my iPhone and so far no problems. In case that helps at all.

Thanks. Only 38 of 72 spots taken so far with less than 3 hours to go. We're going to need a push to fill this one tonight. Who wants to win a Main Event entry tonight?

Yuck.

I'm not liking the pitching options.

You may have chased me out of this one. Is it okay for me to cancel my entry?
I'm seriously considering it.

All day I had Colorado Rockies heading my lineup but then I see it's raining w/ 77% p.o.p. at Coors.

One of the most frustrating parts of DFS is having a game postponed and taking zeros so I switched out all my Rockies for Dodgers.

Just before the deadline it now looks better for weather in Colorado with only 47% p.o.p. so I'm waffling!!
Tried to switch my picks back but I was too late.

Beat me if you can:

Petit SFG
Mesoraco CIN
Abreu CWS
Gordon LAD
Fraizer CIN
Peralta STL
Puig LAD
Kemp LAD
Van Slyke LAD

Did the same thing again this week by adding a $25 entry in a 50/50 league but now I'm wishing I did like ToddZ and entered both versions one LAD and one COL.

Good luck evr'one

Petit? Good luck, you'll need it there. Nice call on Mesoraco though.

Who won last night?

Should we try something else this week other than the $25 price point? We need to fill these to keep them just as NFBC leagues, so any suggestions are helpful. This was the first $25 league we didn't fill. Thoughts?

First Friday I forgot to sign up, totally forgot gents! I must be in fantasy baseball depression, although a local league with friends has me in 1st place my NFBC online team is sinking like the titanic!

Perhaps increase the entry cost to at least $35 or more or make a stipulation that any unfilled contests will be payed out as cash. I haven't played yet due to scheduling conflicts, but will grab a few entries next week if we have a contest. I'm sure there are a few others who haven't jumped in yet, but will as these games continue.

How about this...

Alternate the $1600 Majn Event entry as the prize every 2nd Friday, then every other Friday make the prize a $350 RotoWire Online Championship entry for the top 5 finishers (assumes 2015 price still $350).

Could be more participation with a greater number of payouts. Maybe a few new players will join who aren't interested in playing in 15-team NFBC events?

Just a thought.
