I'm never "excited" about any player getting injured whether it's TJS or just a cramp. I've got Miggy on a few teams so I'm not even a little happy about it.

Players I avoided this season:

Fernandez
Harper
Cargo
Sale
C Lee
Gio
Sabbathia
Verlander
Braun
R Zimmerman
Arenado
Machado
Wieters
Belt

All these players haven't demonstrated they have the "skill" of staying healthy at the major league level.

Then there's Prince. Usually no one is more reliable health wise, but this year the bug got him too.

While it helps that my competitors have lost many good players, I'm not excited about it.

Just trying to help out everyone by passing along tidbits of news. Not everyone has twitter or the time to check it like I do.

Players I avoided this season:

Fernandez - Jose? 2nd year.. wasn't hurt last year
Harper
Cargo
Sale - healthy his entire career
C Lee
Gio
Sabathia - up until last year, never missed a start. No arm injury history
Verlander - healthy his entire career
Braun - pretty much healthy his entire career
R Zimmerman
Arenado
Machado
Wieters
Belt

We all wish we had your insight. See above for notes. I knew I should have followed your lead and drafted Mariano Rivera ..

I too, try to avoid injury players, but do not always. But for Wieters, I must have missed the memo. Catchers with 500+ AB in a season are rare (only 5 last year and Wieters led them all). As a matter of fact, Wieters has had 500 or more AB the last three years running and has been at least in the top three for AB for catchers all three years.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Would rather know before faab has run, but I don't use this thread to help me with that. never have in the previous 7 years. I know how to get the info I need. You use this thread to gain injury info before faab? All good. Whatever works for ya.
So you're complaining why?
Are we helping your competitors by bringing up injuries on a public forum?

I guess you can't please everyone all the time.
If you're not happy with the content of this thread, feel free to ignore it.

The problem being, that most HAVE chosen to ignore.

LMFAO; miss cleo? I remember her. Is she still giving those readings? I, of course, believe everything she says.

Miss Cleo: Mr. Parsons, I'm sensing you are a little upset with fantasy baseball this year?
Parsons: Yes.
Miss Cleo: I'm seeing you have a lot of players injured?
Parsons: Yes.
Miss Cleo: I'm sensing this is affecting your life?
Parsons: Yes, Miss Cleo......how the f**k did you know?
Miss Cleo: I am Miss Cleo from the Bahamas. I can see you right now through my Crystals. Now, Mr. Parsons, please send me $2000.00 for this reading.

I really doubt they bring up Pederson - they already had five outfielders for three spots.
Kemp is going to be used in LF (along with Van Slyke) so Etheir can stay in center

One of the interesting correlations they make - Performance-Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) may enable the athlete to achieve disproportionately strong muscles that overwhelm the UCL and lead to injury.

Chris Winthrow- probably TJ surgery... although not a major fantasy player, I'm sure some had him as a possible closer in waiting if Jansen got hurt... along with Wilson....
