Some of these things may have shown up in the thread about site improvements you'd like to see but I thought it wouldn't hurt to have a different sort of thread which is good for keeping in touch with some of the elusive IT guys who care to read the message board.
I'll kick it off with two items:
1. Heath Hembree was traded to the BoSox last week but still shows up as an SF player.
He's currently locked due to the early Monday start for the Giants but what's gonna happen if later today we hear Boston puts Uehara on the DL and calls up Hembree to bolster the bullpen? Too late to activate him on your roster despite the Red Sox having an off day today.
Are there other players you've noticed are not on the correct team?
2. Late in the pre-season we had a short time where there was the ability to make a waiver claim on a player right from his profile page. There was a button that said something like "Bid on Player".
It seemed to worked well but got dropped from the profile page at about the same time some major improvements were made to the site. Someone wrote the code for it, so it should be a quick (?) job to add it back into the site during the season.
I welcome other site users to add to this thread any minor improvements / error corrections you have noticed would make the site even better. For big jobs and major changes, please add those requests to the original improvements thread.
