Interesting development. I've read where the Rays made multiple offers to keep Madden, who declined a contract option to manage the team in 2015. Haven't yet heard why Madden decided to leave Tampa, although I did see an article speculating that the Cubs should and would be interested in hiring him. Seems like the hot stove season has begun!
