I'll take him but don't expect 3 top prospects.. Lester remains option 1A but it's gonna be a dogfight.

So like one top prospect and two good ones right? I get prospects are valued but hamels is a sure thing.

I don't think Dobies is in. At least he didn't give me the impression he was. I think he is tired of the top auction competition here in the east. He is going for the easy money in Vegas. I hope Ante is coming back. We should really keep one spot open for him until he responds one way or another.

Thanks for the heads up Jason & Alan. Saw the email this morning but thought I had some more time. Was 50/50 about trying to get back in MTM (still not thrilled about being tied into auction championship) but am signed up here now.

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Nov 18, 2014 8:28 pm

This league is now SOLD OUT and then some.

We currently have 16 owners on the signup list, but two owners are tentative and another owner is interested in the $1200 Auction League. There's still some sorting out to be done here, but it's great to see so many owners stepping up early for this one and locking in their plans. We'll finalize all of this shortly, but here's the tentative signup list for this one:

NEW YORK
Friday, April 3, 5 p.m. ET

$2,500 League
1. Andy Saxton, Bear, Delaware
2. Anson Chan, Fort Lee, New Jersey
3. Alan Greenberg, New Haven, Connecticut
4. Jason Duponte, Natick, Massachusetts
5. Jody Ryan, North Oxford, Massachusetts
6. Hal Goldstein, Albany, New York
7. Bobby Brendler, Rockville, Maryland
8. Glenn Lowy, Farmingville, New York
9. Mitchell Einhorn, Rye, New York
10. Michael Lins, Hillsborough, New Jersey
11. Roy Ericson III, Wayne, New Jersey (tentative)
12. Chris Throop, Old Greenwich, Connecticut
13. Mark Srebro, York, Pennsylvania (tentative)
14. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York
15. Ken Magner, Freehold, New Jersey
16. Steve Jupinka, Waldwick, New Jersey

Again, plenty of time to sort this all out, so hang tight everyone. Great to see the first Auction Championship league sold out and good to go.

Greg, I'm in for the super auction in NYC. Just a heads up if you plan on starting the Arizona draft before Dec.1. I will be in Cabo San Lucas until then ,with very limited internet access. Thanks ROY

Re: 7 Spots Left: NFBC New York April 4 League

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Jan 08, 2015 2:03 pm

Auction interest in New York is at an all-time high and we're looking at selling out a record four leagues there this year. As you can see on the signup list below two of the SOLD OUT leagues has more than 15 people signed up with lots of time still left before April comes.

If you're currently listed as tentative the sooner you can confirm your status the more help that will provide us in terms of sorting everything out. Again, I'm not trying to rush anyone. :) Just trying to plan ahead a bit and give new signups a clearer idea of what the leagues are all looking like.

Right now the Saturday time is the only one with GUARANTEED spots available. If you want to sign up for that you can do so on the site. Or contact me if you'd like to take part in that league or confirm a tentative status. Thanks everyone :)

Interest in New York Auctions is at a record level. We've sold out three leagues already and are nearing a sell out for a fourth. The Friday morning time is also getting increased interest and it's possible we could have two leagues at that time. We're several weeks away from making a decision on this time so if you want to dive in sign up and let's go for two. :)

Here is a look at the current list of signups for the 10 am New York Auction on Friday April 3. The first 15 are guaranteed to be in a league. We do have some tentatives among the first 15 and they will be given the first shots at being in the sold out league if they officially commit.

Friday, April 3, 10 a.m. ET
1. Andy Saxton, Bear, Delaware
2. Anson Chan, Fort Lee, New Jersey
3. Alan Greenberg, New Haven, Connecticut
4. Jason Duponte, Natick, Massachusetts

8. Mitchell Einhorn, Rye, New York

11. Tom Sudol, floral park, New York
12. Bobby Brendler, Rockville, Maryland
13. Michael Leone, Buffalo, New York

15. Jeff Dobies, Farmingville, New York (tentative)
16. Jeremy Wilck, Columbus, Ohio
17. Mike Massotto, Livingston, New Jersey (tentative)
18. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York
