Vegas Room Deals

Post by Edwards Kings » Sun Nov 30, 2014 6:22 am

If I missed this, I apologize. Do we have a room deal with Bellagio this year?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Nothing is set yet. In fact, as Dustin said in a previous post this is going to be a really hectic time in Las Vegas this year, so don't wait for our room block. There are two huge shows in the city over the last week in March and into Easter weekend. Because we take a small room block, our contract at the Bellagio can't be finalized until 90 days out, so we have to wait a bit yet. But seriously, you can see the prices are very high across the board for both of our weekends, so look around to find some bargains and if you can find them take it. The Bellagio has limited space for the last two weekends in March already due to a huge show there, so this could be tough this year.

I'll post more details as soon as I can, but I can't help just yet. Good luck all.

A number of properties have Cyber Monday sales, so today is a good day to book a room. You can always cancel for a refund of your deposit if you find a better deal later.

I booked a room at the Monte Carlo which was 20% off today. It's an easy tram ride or a 10-15 min walk from the MC through the Aria/Vdara properties to the Bellagio's Spa Tower.

Excellent. Yes, the Aria/Vdara and Monte Carlo properties are perfect and the Tram comes right into the Spa Tower area where we usually get space. I'd recommend those properties if the price is right. Perfect.

I found a deal at The Westin for just over $100 per for 5 days incl/ the weekend. Four star hotel/casino not too far away (1 block east of the Flamingo, huge Ferris Wheel behind it).

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
