"Giants assistant general manager Bobby Evans indicated Thursday that Michael Morse could be primed to sign elsewhere.

"He’s got interest from other suitors on a multiyear basis, and the market may ultimately sweep him away," said Evans. The Giants remain in touch with Morse, but Evans said left field is not considered the highest priority because they have depth with Gregor Blanco, Juan Perez, and Travis Ishikawa. Morse has drawn interest as a DH option from American League clubs, including the Rangers and Orioles."

Look, they win championships, but to me Gregor Blanco, Juan Perez, and Travis Ishikawa provide all the depth of a parking lot puddle. :?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
