Will Robertson just couldn't resist and jumped into the NFBC's main event with his own team after enjoying a few satellite league drafts. He will be joining us in New York, giving us 123 teams there and 357 overall. Welcome back Will.

Okay, we have nine teams now for the Las Vegas $650 AL Auction League and a 10th one on the way. That will leave us with two open spots for that 4 p.m. PST auction on Friday, March 16th. Let me know if you want one and we'll plan accordingly. Thanks everyone.

We have 10 teams for the $650 AL Auction League in Las Vegas now, leaving us with two open spots. We're going to close this league out soon, so let's keep it going.

There's no turning back on the main event anymore either as we're more than half full for the 25th league with several other teams arriving soon. Get ready for a field of 375 teams and draft spots by Friday or before then!!!

Okay, we have 59 teams in Chicago for the main event as we welcome a fourth Kleemann to the NFBC family. We're just missing one daughter or we'd have the whole gang competing!! :D But she's close as she will be a facilitator in Chicago during the main event. Awesome, George and Sandi!! One spot left in Chicago.

We also have 369 paid signups as of tonight with a few more likely to come soon. We're on pace to get everything done by Thursday if my feelings are right. Hang tight a little longer and we'll be good to go, with one city having an exact number and the other cities getting closer. Thanks everyone.

All is fair in love and war and thus we welcome John Zaleski into the $650 AL Auction League in Las Vegas. John has grabbed the 12th and final spot in that one as we now have six full auction leagues on Friday in Las Vegas. Thanks John for filling this one up and best of luck in the hunt for the $3,500 league prize.

That does it for the auction leagues!!! Thanks everyone.

Now onto the final spots for the main event, which are going well. I don't see any problems ahead, so the main event draft spots will be announced tomorrow morning.

Okay, I've updated the Ultimate Draft League signup list. We're getting there. If everyone stays in, we'd be two spots away from a third Ultimate Draft League!!! Wouldn't that be something!!!

Anyone who has not spoken to these guys in the last week probably do not realize how hard they have worked to get this last fifteen and how hard they worked to keep people off of phones.

I wonder if we will ever see a 2005 again where no one was on a phone correct? That takes some luck!

The signup page has been updated to reflect our current 375 teams for the main event, all of the auction league teams and all of the Ultimate League teams. We are still finalizing that third Ultimate Draft League and will have that done by Sunday night. Right now we have 12 teams guaranteed for that third league and there are three possible slots left. We'll definitely go with 12, 13, 14 or 15 teams and announce the prize money appropriately. Thanks everyone.

As I stated on another thread, we did have more demand than supply this year as we turned three folks away yesterday for the main event and there were a few others who called about availability. I don't believe we would have hit 390 by waiting a few more days, but it's good to know that alternates are out there. Same with the auction leagues in each city. And of course the satellite leagues have FAR exceeded expectations as we'll have 34 or more full leagues when all is said and done. This has become a BEAST of an event that Tom and I are extremely proud of.

So good luck with your preparations and one week from now we'll be able to say PLAY BALL!! Let the fun begin!!

Greg, I am curious, which makes greater revenue, your Football Event or your Baseball event? (including all satellites). I could go mulitply the numbers but I am lazy

My big concern on growth is you getting good auctioneers, and draft coordinators. I think when you continue to grow beyond 375 you are going to find it hard to attract people to do this with your current pay structure. Sadly, I think that you will have to pay more which means less payback for us and worse margins for you...

Spy Baseball. We'll have 57 or more in the NFBC Ultimate Leagues this year and we haven't topped 14 in football yet. But I think football will see a big jump this year as a lot of people will do satellite leagues to test out our new 3RR (Third Round Reversal) concept and our auction leagues will also be up this year.

I'm not worried about that. I have a LOT of contacts in the industry and I think I can find a good auctioneer for those. We'll handle growth, trust me! :D And as for margins, we've never worried about that. The key is to keep growing this event and eventually someone will see this as something special and want to be involved, whether that's as a sponsorship, partnership or TV venture. It will come, trust me.
