Re: SOLD OUT: NFBC $150 Draft Champions 12
I draft too much. Something my wife reminds me of, quite often. But, she knows it makes me happy.
And if there's one thing you learn in getting older, it is 'Do what makes you happy'
I've drafted so much, that I believe I have been in drafts with 11 or 12 of the folks signed up for this draft.
Matt, KJ, and Mike are wonderful draft competitors. At the table and away.
I look at these drafts as practice tests leading up to the Big Exam. Of course some of the questions on the Big Exam will change as players go to different teams and drafters differ and are more knowledgeable as well.
Not only are these 'practice tests. It is a Holiday savior for me. I could not stand one more Holiday shopping trip or one more 'well-wishing Merry Christmas person' without having a draft in the back of my mind.
I'm saying Merry Christmas, but I'm thinking...
'Can I take Kershaw over McCutchen?'
'Should I go talent or position here'
'13th round and no catcher, take one here or wait another 10 rounds'.
We are buying mind play. It helps me cope with a Christmas Season that others probably find more jolly than myself.
After all, there's no baseball being played during Christmas, what kind of season is that?

On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
Re: SOLD OUT: NFBC $150 Draft Champions 12
I told ya your post from Doughboy Nation got the itch going in me. Time to strike the band & see what 2015 will bring.
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you in the draft room; that place is what makes a draft for me & this one will definitely not disappoint.

Lovely sharkfest I've jumped into here. Didn't want my first $150 Slow Draft of the year to be like a Main league competition, but oh well, may as well get some tough practice from the get-go.

No one needs to worry about me, my head is full of football players. I'm just donating to the Doughy Christmas Fund.
