$250 dc auction

may need ya if ya got special powers..i set up a private league..and by doing that it allowed me to have commish powers...but i was going to try and walk KJ through it so he could set up one of his own

We used CouchManagers for a couple of magazine drafts and it was fine (though one had a small glitch at the beginning but once admin fixed it everything was cool).

I guess I just assumed the auction would be OK. We ran three off RTS last year -- no way I can do practice nights like last year but if necessary I can handle the admin. So long as the users avoid Internet Explorer like the plague it should be fine. We actually had a couple guys d/l Firefox and/or Chrome at a break since it would be easier that way.

Maybe set up a 3 or 4 man auction to test it? if you can't make it happen then I'll check with RTS to see if I can have the same access I did last year (if I don't still have it).

yeah KJ and I on phone trying to test it out...think it will work......but still getting used to the site

couchmanagers starting putting multiple players up for bid at some time....

cool - let me know if there's a control, etc you can't figure out. There was a trick to backing out players (escapes me now) - but hopefully that won't be needed if everyone can stay connected.

Everyone...RT sports is going to work....KJ and I have figured out how to do a commish mock draft...and to pause the draft...we are working on the back out pick piece...but this should be a go for sunday

I can do Sunday. But it needs to be earlier than 7:00 EST. Can't stay up until midnight on a "school night". I would prefer next Friday night.

I'm 99% sure backing out works fine so long as there weren't any dummy owners (as opposed to dumb owners - I can't control that). IIRC, my issues were in the practice drafts when I wanted to back out the auto-draft picks.

My main suggestion is this --- SCAN the hell out of the player pool and find ALL position discrepancies then announce them previous to the draft. Then when it comes time to nominate one of them -- use a scrub at the same position and use the chat to share the real name.

Then after it's over -- you can export the draft to Excel and manually change the player before sending to G&T.

Ok, Andy and I tested out RT Sports and figured out the commish settings so we can pause and back out players as needed.

We will ask everyone to arrive at 6pm or earlier to test it out for themselves, and we'll begin the auction at 6pm eastern (or sooner/later as needed when everyone is available).

If you can't make it please post below or PM me. The site should work well, it just required a private league setup to have commish controls. I will need to send invites to all via email, so post or PM me your email if you can make it. If you can't make it, let me know ASAP so we can replace.
