It's Time for a "Fast/Slow" with some pros...

Post by Baseball Furies » Wed Jan 07, 2015 10:25 pm

Okay boys, now that I have a few DC's under my belt to this point in the season, I am feeling the need to be really challenged for a change after drafting with so many rank amateurs to date. Wait, I think I was in all of those leagues, too.  So I'm putting the call out there on this thread for 14 experienced fanatics who want to crank one of these babies out in five (5) + days (I believe 5 days and a few hours is the record for a non-express one of these, but Doughy has the exact time). People I don't like, who don't like me (those last two just knocked about 500 people or so  ), who are general nuisances to all on these boards, and are anything less than veteran or pro caliber need not apply. You know who you are...but if you don't, I will be more than happy to help you clarify once you post your willingness to be a part of this league, but don't take it too personal :P  . Once we have have 15, we'll all sign up and Greg can set this up as a separate league. Now mind you, I am potentially going waaaaaaaaay out on a limb here assuming that IT can handle this feat, but let's hope and pray. :P So who's in pending my approval?

-MTM

P.S. And needless to say I will be providing the usual professional draft facilitation services and no extra cost to the participants. An invoice will be forwarded to Greg and Tom for this at the end of the season. And now something mindless to get your attention and further peak your interest:

Ahhh, who needs a mind anyway? :D

Your win in the inaugural MTM Super Event alone more than qualifies you, my friend. 8-) Looking forward to seeing you again in NY again this year. Make sure that you register for the event if you haven't done so already to ensure your spot. Thanks.

There's my West Coast Bitch! Great to have the immortal KJ Duke on board. And to answer your question, this thread is actually an empirical research study about the philosophical, emotional, spiritual, and mental implications of how hot women with bouncey, artificial ta-tas help get guys attracted to fantasy baseball drafts in January. Experts discussion panel to follow.

Roy, your mastery at hawking ice cream sandwiches and sno-cones hardly qualifies you for entry into this league...but in your case I will make an exception. Happy to have you on board!

Okay who else? Let's fill this up so that we are drafting by the weekend! 8-)

Don't do anything with signups yet. Let's get 15 people on the list and then Tom and I have to work our magic to get you 15 signed up after a full DC league happens. We'll sign each of you up once we get to 15, so don't sign up online for this one. Thanks.

Hey Mike I just contacted Doughboy about getting back in this again and he told me you were the man to speak with. Really enjoyed last year, but NEED to prove to ourselves that we are not that bad. At any rate If you'll have us we would love to take another swing.
