He was some big talker. I guess he couldn't put his money where his mouth is.

I guess all your talk in just that... talk. I guess I'll have to find the guy (if you are one) with the "research team" following him everywhere. Or you may be the guy cowering in the corner to scared to play with the big boys.

You threw out alot of stuff on these boards, now let's see you back that talk up.....

Is Gordon shy? He likes to "advocate" himself as an expert while the rest of us are just novices. Yet, he does not announce what league he is in nor what pick he has. I find that very interesting. Could it be that he would feel foolish if he did not finish 1st in his league and even 1st overall? Maybe. Gordon, Gordon; whereforth art thou???

Our 'Mile High' lizard pulled the same thing in Football, yapped at people, criticized, tried to get under people's skin and then said that he liked knowing where everyone else was...he actually disappeared for awhile, caught a hot streak and started spouting off like some prophet once he got ranked a bit...suffice it to say that you'll know where he is should his team amount to much as he will desire the attention much like he gets from this thread and start touting/pimping himself and his 'minions' ...this year he isn't even registered under his own name...all bluster and no backbone...

BONGIZMO, you are the last person I expected to see on this thread. 43rd out of 45 in the WCOFB last year doesn't show much. I could be a 10 year old kid and do better than that. I know some owners like to "punt" a category, but it seems like you "punted" every category last year.

Gordon,

I’m an impartial observer on this one, however:

Dizzy Dean used to say “It ain’t bragg’n if you can do it.” I believe in this philosophy. But you actually HAVE to have done something to talk high-level smack. So, my question to you is obvious : “What have you done?” Please share with us your amazing exploits of the fantasy baseball world.

Peace.

Ah sparring with you Albert is truly an entertaining way to kill time before my flight and of course your response was as equally predictable.

Unlike yourself, I don't need to hide behind a moniker and am quite open about my results as are most on this board. It is cowards like you that don't have the guts to let people know where you are because you wouldn't be able to handle the flaming you would encounter should you perform worse than the norm.

I deal with people like you all the time and the fact that you tout the 'staff' indicates an individual that can't make their own decisions and needs the support of the collective group.

Yes Al, you know where to find me because I have nothing to hide and should I do well as we all hope to do, I will take my winnings and be happy but not advertise it to the world...we all know you would never be so humble...

See ya in Vegas, if you are even going to be there... ;)

You should be focusing all of your resources on your draft, and not worrying which league I'm in. But, I promise, either myself or one of my staff will be watching.

League 1 (12 teams) – I won the championship, but 10 of the teams were managed by 8th graders.

League 2 (14 teams) – I came in third. All of the teams were managed by relatives (including nephews and wives).

League 3 (12 teams) – This was a Yahoo league. I came in 7th.

League 4 (12 teams) – ESPN league. Don’t know where I finished. I forgot my username and password.

League 5 (10 teams) – This was a league comprised of “people” I see at work. There was a water delivery guy, the UPS guy, FED Ex guy, mailroom guy, etc… Needless to say, I came in 8th.

Now you can see why I display confidence in my posts.

You're not Fat Homer are you?

I remember first year of the WCOFF this guy called Fat Homer was always posting about how fat he was and the amount of space he would need at the draft tables. I met him at the Black Jack tables and he was lucky to weigh 100lbs. Heck of a nice guy but was the exact opposite of what he proffessed to be.

So I guess that means the Lizzard will be a janitorial assistant, drafting alone, and spouting tidbits from this great new website he just discovered Rotowire.

That was truely funny the first time, now it's just pathetic.

We all can see your true nature and you're just a kid hiding behind this false image of being a big player. (being a kid has nothing to do with chronological age or money you make, it's a mental state being, and you're being a kid).

If a Gekko talks, does anyone really care????

Resume posting ... an interesting concept and one I did last season. I do some writing for CREATiVESPORTS and last year every three weeks I gave my current league standings and added any significant moves or league trades. I can't say that anyone read any of my articles although the 'hit" count was quite high. Too often those people who write and talk a good game sort of forget their results.

I'm looking forward to this weekend and am taking the train to NY Friday. I hope to be at the Javits Center by 3. My partner will be there about the same time. On the train back, I will be starting my article about the weekend experience. Of course I draft my "small" local money league at 10am the next morning.

Your psycho-babble is BS. Funny, but still BS.

You are probably a nice guy, but you seem to be way over your head when it comes to fantasy sports. This is not an opinion. I'm basing it on your WCOFF (359 out of 600) & WCOFB (22 out of 45) finishes last year.

So you don't want to share your pick there Gordo? Why not share you league number then or is that to complicated for you too?
