I ended up changing the title to Low Pros when I posted the ineligible list.
Roger, how do I list you for the signup? When I search previous leagues I find Steven Dorn, Loveland Ohio but no Roger.

The point is at the top of your head. Translation: Bill is trying to say you're annoying idiot.
You do need to go away like others have suggested. You single-handedly napalmed this forum last summer. These parts had never been as desolate. No one wanted to post anything. You saturated every thread with your idiotic comments that offered no substance whatsoever.
Now here we are in January, two months before a season begins. Folks are joining leagues. Folks are offering opinions on players and strategies. Folks are joining live events looking forward to competing with and seeing friends they see once a year. And here we go again, having to navigate through your saturation of posts that kill most threads that are made. By the time April comes around, you are on course for doing the same thing to these boards as you did last year. I don't post too much, but I very much enjoy reading them. You have taken that enjoyment away from me to a degree. Yes, I know that is a "me" problem, but one I feel many others share.
I think I might have a solution that is polite and amicable. Since it is apparent that you have Greg's ear from time to time, why don't you ask him to do you a favor. Have him set up a Forum for you as he did Dough. Make people come to you and your Forum and threads for conversation and engagement, instead of having you saturate the piss out of this place again this year.
Just a thought from an average guy around here who doesn't post much, enjoys the heck out of this place, and feels like he's seeing Groundhog Day all over again.

Do you want into this league or are you being facetiously hypocritical? Just curious.Ando wrote: Just a thought from an average guy around here who doesn't post much, enjoys the heck out of this place, and feels like he's seeing Groundhog Day all over again.

We don't have to "live with" anything you suggest is a rule or a precedent. You are not the rule-setter on these boards or in this league. Greg will decide what the rules are. No one has a problem making an overall contest HARDER, lots of people have a problem making one that is deliberately easier. MTM started HARDER leagues which are very unlikely to produce an overall winner ... and if they did it would be a well deserved victory. Only an idiot would not grasp that concept.Deadheadz wrote:Dorian makes a good point. It wasn't my idea to make these fast slows exclusive (it was MTM) but these guys will all have to live with the rules they agreed to.
You clearly don't want to play with the big boys if you have to pay to play, you just want to play on our turf against other yahoos. That isn't going to fly, so stop trying to start your own bullshit leagues with bullshit rules under the NFBC brand.

I AM NOT IN THIS LEAGUE
I AM FOLLOWING THE EXCLUSIVENESS RULES GIVEN BY MTM IN HIS LEAGUES

Thank you for confirming that you are indeed the single dumbest person ever born.
Also, the NFBC doesn't need you as a thread-starter, a list-maker or a rule-proprietor. It was doing just fine on its own. A few of us that have been here for a long time do start league lists on occasion, people like Dough or MtM or Gekko, because others that play here respect them. You don't have that, your lists are more likely to be met with

If you want to be involved play in some leagues and try not to sound like a moron every time you post, and leave the list-starting to people that are proposing legitimate ideas.

I've been off these boards for awhile as people like you tend to suck the life out of the game.
In the spirit of the game, there is no way anyone and I mean anyone should be able to create a soft spot in any league with an overall competition. There is no way Greg will endorse this type of behavior as this is bad for his game. This approach is exactly why the game needs to have a blind signups. No one should know who is in any league until the lights go on. In a perfect world, every person in each draft should be represented by their team number only (team 1, team 2, team 3, etc. Therefore, no one knows who is in each league. If a player feels like he want to reveal his name in the chat, so be it.
Mike set up his league so that some players that want to draft at a fast pace could play together. Each player in the league is a long time NFBC player. If you don't see the difference, you have no respect for the game.
I don't care what you say about not playing in your so called league. At any time, I can sign up a team in any game under a different name if I wanted to. I could use any friend or family and you wouldn't know the difference. You could do the same and we wouldn't know. So lose the I'm not playing in the league line......

OK folks, I'm locking this thread. Unless someone can convince me any of this is moving in a positive direction it will remain closed. If people wish to set up a DC league or any other league feel free to put the list of owners together and send it to Greg and me and we'll set it up. But for now this thread is getting locked down.
Just an FYI, Greg is traveling back from Vegas today and I'm going to see my ill mother so both of us are going to be difficult to reach and won't be able to respond promptly. So I hope everyone will play nice while we're away. Thanks.
