He would have been a perfect fit with the power and speed combination, but I targeted speed after the Stanton pick and didn't think Ellsbury would be there and took Gordon. I wish I had this one back, that's for sure. I know I didn't want to start with two Outfielders, but I let the Coronas talk me into this one.

6.8 Sonny Gray: I was thrilled to get him as my second SP. There was a run on Closers in this round, but in a 13-team league I never even considered one of the closers. I'm happy with Gray as my SP2.
Overall looks solid, Greg ... Dee vs Ellsbury looks more like a toss-up than a screw-up to me, but I think you'd be better off with a premium closer or hitter where you took Gray.

On Gordon, I get it, but at what point (35+, 40+, 45+ steals and 90+, 95+, 100+ runs) do you say "damn, I am glad I screwed up in reverse?

So how may AB do you think Victorino will steal from Betts? Or is Victorino out of Boston by the end of spring training?

There's no doubt that Victorino and Allen Craig are in the mix for ABs and if Betts struggles this spring the temptation will be to go with the seasoned veteran. That's the risk of drafting in January and taking Betts as high as I did. But are the Red Sox really worried about Victorino's at-bats if they want to win this year? No, they will go with the best player and I think Betts has a chance to be special. I could be wrong, but it feels that way. Craig can get his ABs at 1B and a little at DH, so Victorino becomes the 4th outfielder. But we'll see if I'm right.

Greg I don't think Gordon was the problem - or even Betts although that is a LOT of koolaid - the real problem was that with Gordon, Betts, and Castillo already on board you picked Segura who not only has to rebound tremendously but even if he does will largely be only a plus in SB which at that point you didn't need (at least in quantity).

Agreed. Again, it is a trading league, so if I have too many SBs I can always trade them. But my choices here were Segura, Aybar, Bogaerts, Rollins or Hardy. I thought about waiting for more power here on Rollins or Hardy, but none of these options were perfect. But the power here probably would have fit my lineup better as you said. We'll see and again I'm hoping for a surplus on speed and Runs to trade later because there are several teams that don't have much in speed right now.

Todd will be on the STATS Fantasy Advantage tonight at 11 pm ET to talk about his draft. Should be a fun conversation.
