Hey Don congrats on winning the league named after you. This is dave I emailed you last year. I graduated from FSC. Bet I wouldn't recognize Lakeland now. I've only been back there once since I graduated. Even that was around 1995, so it's been a while. What are the rules differances in your league again? How'd you do in the big game? Were you in any other satillites?

Hi and thanks Dave. Yes, Lakeland has changed a bit. Did you know we have the number 1 high school football team in the country? Lakeland High School. I finished #188 in the overall contest this year and #12 in a satellite league.
How did you do?
The Don Mathis league has the same rules as all the other leagues. The only difference is it is a mid season league where the first half stats count for your original 23 man roster.
The league only had a 1/3 inning minimum for 2006 but I thought it was 400, until after the draft, so I ended up with 477.2 innings. For 2007 the minimum will be 600 as all the other leagues.

I didn't know Lakeland was #1. I used to pass that high school everyday. I was lucky enough to finish 1 in my league in the main event. 31 overall. 3rd in a satillite league and 10th in another. Both my sat. teams drafted D. Lee in the 1st round. That really hurt and 1 of them was stupid enough to take Gagne in the 4th. Good luck this year and may you win whatever leagues you join. I'll be drafting out of Chicago again.
