Weekly Question: Where Do You Rank Matsuzaka?
I admit my round predictions can be a little crazy, but my player valuations are usually pretty good. You have a lot to learn, Chest. But this is why you're here.

Typical response to someone who cannot come up with anything better.

Big Dog, we will agree to disagree on the latest multi-millionaire player for the BoSox (but I thought the second most recognizable team was the Toledo Mudhens or have I been watching too many M*A*S*H reruns?)
This ain't some fresh 23 year old kid off the farm (figuratively and literally). He has a great deal of experience both in Japan (that AA analysis may be a bit dated...I heard that a lot in the '70's, but with the success of quite a few Japanese imports, I am not sure it is still valid) and on the world stage where he played against quite a few major league players with National pride on the line.
I will say this...the first time through the league he could put up some gaudy numbers (first times seeing a pitcher I feel the advantage is to the pitcher). He will come back to earth in the 2H, but I target him as a good #2 fantasy pitcher and a GREAT #3.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
