119 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
How cool would it be to win BOTH of our Main Event overall titles? No doubt you'd be the toast of the fantasy sports industry and a bit richer, too. Not only would you win the $125,000 grand prize in the NFBC Main Event and the $80,000 grand prize in the NFBC Primetime, but you'd likely win individual league titles and now a $75,000 cash bonus. That's at least $280,000 in prize money!!
Once again we are offering a $75,000 cash bonus to anyone who can win both overall titles in our 15-Team Main Event and our 12-Team NFBC Primetime. Last year we had 420 teams in the NFBC Main Event and only 240 teams in the NFBC Primetime. Of the three bonuses we are offering, this one definitely has the fewest number of teams and leagues to compete against for the overall titles and the $75,000 bonus. As Lindy Hinkelman proved in 2009 when he won the Main Event-Online Championship $75,000 bonus, it can be done.
We will keep track of every owner who signs up for both contests and is eligible for this bonus. In fact, we'll even list them when they have multiple teams in each event since it gives them an added opportunity to win the bonus. Here's a list of the current signups who are eligible for this bonus along with the Rules:

Re: 18 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
Okay, remember that we have a $75,000 cash bonus for anyone who can win the Main Event overall championship and the Primetime overall championship. Last year we had almost 120 owners doing both events, so let's see if anyone can do "The Lindy" here and win the 15-team Main Event and 12-Team Main Event. Who's good enough to win the ultimate double?

Re: 23 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We now have 23 owners doing both Main Events and in line for the $75,000 cash bonus. With only 252 teams expected in the NFBC Primetime, this is the bonus with the best chance for success. Give it a try if you're doing the Main Event this year.
Thanks to the early returnees to these two events and let's keep adding to the list.

Re: 34 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
I'm glad to welcome back Michael Makula to both Main Event leagues in Chicago this year. Michael finished second in the Main Event last year to the Morgans as he drafted in Chicago League 2. Michael is back for the Main Event and the Primetime at the Sheraton Northbrook as we now have 5 teams in the Chicago Primetime. Let's keep both of those going in Chicago.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

I never meant to consolidate you. I just missed that last Primetime entry. You have been duly represented on the list for 2 entries in each. Thanks man and now hopefully the list is updated correctly.KJ Duke wrote:I did, you consolidated me.Greg Ambrosius wrote:They have multiple combinations to win the $75,000 grand prize. But 2 entries into each give me 4 possible winning combinations ... Potts 3X has 9 shots!

Re: 45 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We're now closing in on almost 50 teams with entries in both of our Main Events. Someone here could win $280,000+ by winning the 15-team Main Event overall title and the 12-Team Primetime overall title. With only 252 teams expected in the Primetime, it could happen. The Main Event already has 200+ entries as we're almost half full there. Don't delay if you want to get into either of these contests. Thanks all and good luck in the Main Events and in the hunt for this double-double and the $75,000 cash bonus.

Re: 60 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We're getting real good interest from our veteran NFBC owners in both Main Events as we now have more than 60 teams signed up for the doubleheader and a shot at $205,000 in grand prizes and this $75,000 cash bonus. Let's keep the momentum going with the Main Event and the Primetime and top last year's total of 120+ teams doing both events. Thanks all and keep the signups coming in as it's been a great last week for these two events.

Re: 70 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We now have more than 70 owners who are competing for the $75,000 cash bonus between the Main Event and the Primetime!! Nice job everyone. Let's see who can be the best owner in the 15-team AND the 12-team Main Events and let's see if anyone can win both overall titles and over $275,000 in prize month. Great job all and I'll keep updating this thread with every new signup for the Main Event doubleheader!!
Thanks and good luck.

Re: 95 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We're closing in on 100 teams now in both Main Events. Remember that if anyone wins both overall titles they'll win $205,000 in grand prizes plus the $75,000 cash bonus. Lindy Hinkelman did that in the Main Event-Online Championship back in 2009, which was tougher because we had 3 times as many teams in the Online than we'll have in the Primetime this year.
Don't forget to add a Primetime if you already have a Main Event if you want a shot at this bonus. Thanks all and good luck this season.

Re: 100 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We're now at 100 owners with teams in both the Main Event and the Primetime, giving them a shot at the $205,000 in grand prizes, $13,500 in league prizes and the $75,000 cash bonus. Last year we finished with just over 120 teams in both Main Events, so let's see if we can top that this year. The Main Event now has almost 370 teams, while the Primetime has just over 160 teams. Thanks for all your support everyone and good luck this year.

Re: 108 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We are approaching last year's level of owners with teams in both Main Events as we welcomed back several veteran NFBC owners this week. Philip McDonald is an NFBC Charter Member who unfortunately couldn't play last year because of work, but he's back this year with teams in both Main Events and the 12-Team Super League Online. It's great to have him back as well. We now have 108 teams in both Mains as we give everyone a shot at the $75,000 cash bonus. Last year we had right around 120 teams in both Mains.
Keep 'em coming everyone and don't be afraid to add a Primetime if you already have a Main Event. We still have less than 180 teams in that 12-team format, so odds of winning that $80,000 are as good as they'll ever get. Enjoy and good luck all.

Re: 116 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
I think we're going to top last year's total of owners in both Main Events. Thanks all for rallying around the Primetime and making that one relevant again. We're looking better there and the Main Event is definitely going to have 29 leagues and 435 teams. Great job everyone.
Now, can anyone on this list when both Main Event overall titles and almost $300,000 in prizes? We'll find out. Good luck all.

Re: 119 Owners In Line For $75,000 Main Event Bonus
We have a couple of owners who are also battling for the $205,000 in overall prizes in the NFBC Main Event and Primetime, while also dreaming about the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall titles. Here's a look at the owners who have a realistic shot at that now that we're at the All-Star break:
Don Warner is 4th in the Main Event and 6th overall in the Primetime. Don's so quiet at those live drafts in Las Vegas, but he's killing it this year. Nice job Don.
Philip McDonald returned to the NFBC after a short absence and is making his presence known again. He's 19th in the Main Event and 13th in the Primetime. Nice return Philip.
Eric Heberlig is 26th in the Main Event and 3rd in the Primetime.
Chad Schroeder is 43rd in the Main Event and 2nd in the Primetime.
I hope I didn't miss anyone else. Good luck to all who have a shot at this $75,000 cash bonus.
