Re: SOLD OUT: New York April 2 Auction

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Feb 05, 2015 3:01 pm

One update about the NY auctions - we'd love to get a fifth league so registration has not been shut off for any of the days and times. However, once we get to 15 committed for the Thursday league we will shut that off registration. We will not try for two leagues that night since it's highly unlikely it could be done. I've contacted the people currently marked as tentative to see if they can commit one way or the other as soon as possible. I'd like to have all four sold out leagues finalized with 15 committed owners by Feb. 19 when charges are run. Then we can move forward and see if a fifth league is possible.

So if you want to sign up for an auction you can still do so. The more flexible you can be the better in case others drop out and spots become available.

Any questions about all this feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thanks. :)

We may be close to selling out the $2,500 auction again in NY, this time with a very special guest. 2014 Main Event champs Greg and Dale Morgan are deciding where they want to draft the second weekend and they've narrowed their choices to New York and Chicago. If they come to the Big Apple they want a spot in this great league so I'm putting them down as tentative. Feel free to twist their arms to get them to join us in New York for this league and the Main Event on Saturday. :)

$2,500 League
1. Andy Saxton, Bear, Delaware

No, not if Tim Short moves to New York for the $2500 Auction. But I do have one Chicago owner who has a tentative claim on it. I'll report an update very shortly.
