A few things I believe in.......
I believe that Brett Cecil is the Closer in Toronto every bit as much as BJ Upton is the second hitter in Atlanta's lineup...
I believe that fantasy talk hosts use the word 'value' more than religous talk hosts use the word 'Amen'.....
I believe that Ruben Amaro still thinks he can win and doesn't want to deal anybody he has signed....
I believe that Amaro, if not under the gun, would be looking for Victorino and Allen Craig from the Sox, not Mookie Betts...
I believe that Amaro will be remembered in baseball as the Titanic is remembered by the ocean...
I believe that, "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!" is different when said by a porn star, than Al Pacino....
I believe that I may change my team to 'THE BEST DAMNED FANTASY PLAYER THAT EVER WAS"...
I believe I will do that because I want to see the new draft room say, "THE BEST DAMNED FANTASY PLAYER THAT EVER WAS has entered the room".....
I believe that I want to shake Nic Cassavetes hand in a month because it'll be as close as I get to having my way with Kate Upton...
I believe that if Mookie Betts first name was 'Melvin' that his ADP would be 30 picks lower.....
I believe that I would have respected Mookie's parents more had they named their son Pete Rose ....
I believe that if Giancarlo Stanton does a 'Tony Conigliaro', that would be the story of the year....
I believe that the name 'Tony Conigliaro' is only recognized by very few now...
I believe that the word 'Sleeper' is almost dead....Rest in peace, you son of a bitch....
I believe that if I were a sleeper, I would be doing that instead of Insomnia...
I believe that some of the best drafters in the world are in the Mia Draft and that one of them will win the Main Event this year...
I believe that a porn star will view 15 fantasy drafters as 15 fantasy drafters would view a Sunday at the Mall....
I believe that Shawn Childs looks more like Richie Cunningham than Ron Howard....
I believe that LaTroy Hawkins will get more Saves than Addison Reed this year.....
I believe that the new draft room will be a great addition once the freezing after the drafting of a player and the doubling, tripling and even quadrupling of a sentence in chat is fixed.....
I believe that the first televised game of Spring is today. Woohoo.....
I believe that Tanner Roark is the best 'sixth pitcher ' in baseball...And Daniel Nava, the best 'sixth outfielder'...
I believe that I'm gonna try and go back to sleep.....

"I believe that if Giancarlo Stanton does a 'Tony Conigliaro', that would be the story of the year."
Two years ago, Jason Heyward got hit in the face in the same manner as Stanton did last year.
In my opinion, Heyward hasn't been in the same since. He really struggled for most of the season with his hitting especially in the power dept.
If I got drilled in the face with a fastball, I think I would be a lot more timid at the plate also. Not leaning in but rather taking those precious milliseconds after the pitch is thrown to make sure the ball is not coming at my head again.
I think those milliseconds can really sap your power.
I watched Stanton get drilled last week during a intra-quad game. He had his look in his face, like "are you kidding me?"
I might be foolish by not planning on drafting Stanton in any of my leagues but I'll wait this year out with him and re-invest next year if all is well.

Why w/ the Amaro ? Aren't Joey & I friends of yours ?! Do you know how it feels to know your team has no chance in Feb

You know the Cubs really owe us, I mean we gave'em Ryno bk in the day...I think it's only fair we swap GM's now..I'm sure my pals Russ (Naval Lint) & Ando would approve such a transaction

btw, if he doesn't trade Pap he's even dumber than I thought

Always be closing.

Yes, the Sandberg trade did work out great for the Cubs.
And don't forget you guys sent us Fergie Jenkins in 1966, he only won 20+ games a year for the next 6 seasons.
And sending Bobby Dernier and Gary 'The Sarge' Matthews over to the Cubs during Spring Training of 1984 helped put the team into the playoffs that year.......
But we evened it all out in April 1991 when we sent you Mitch Williams.....

Oops......Never mind, we still owe you

Re: I Believe
I do believe that was the World Series Mitch was pitching in
I didn't even know about Fergie Jenkins but I blame Amaro
Bobby D & Sarge was just dumb, but Mitchy Poo, I still love that guy. Sure Joe Carter, but he was on the mound striking out (Dave Justice I think) to help Phils beat Braves & clinch the NL pennant. That '93 tm was one of my fav's, most of 'em looked liked roadies for Metallica
