I seem to remember doing a NY Main Event in that hotel about 5-6 years ago.Got there late and was on the clock as soon as I sat in my chair. Had #9 pick and went with Pujols who had been falling down draft lists since he was coming back from injury previous year. Pretty sure he won the MVP that year and I won the league too!

Pretty sure that was the year Dr. Injury, Rick Wilton, was barnstorming the country basically telling anyone & everyone Pujols' arm was barely attached and may fall off during the year. I vividly remember this advice at one of the BaseballHQ seminars and then Pujols went on to win the MVP. That may have been the year I finally realized none of these so-called "experts" know anymore than any of us. He pretty much single-handedly desytroyed Pujols' ADP that year. I have since pretty much disregarded any of Dr. HQ's injury information as quackery and lacking in any substance other than "I talked to this beat reporter" and sky-is-falling paranoia. Not even sure what his medical credentials even are, but only in the Fantasy Baseball "Industry" does a recreational fisherman get to act as such an injury "Doctor."
