The message boards have gone from bad to worse. Seems as if every other post is either from Deadheadz or announcing every injury or both.

I haven't posted much this year and don't plan on it. The boards have been ruined and unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a solution. I just hope that this forum can be where some of us who are sick of the crap can vent and share and articulate about the stuff that made these boards second to none for fantasy baseball freaks like me.

Thank you Dan for keeping up with this forum. I know there have been moments when you have wanted to step away and frankly I do not blame you, but this is where its at. This is what keeps me interested.

when i see stuff like that, i come to these message boards less and less

I don't think the Message Boards are the same either. The top line is missing stimulating talk about baseball and fantasy baseball.
Instead, we are given injury updates that everybody already knows about.
We have personal posts.
And posts that have little to do with baseball.


I don't like it. But, I'm just a guy.
There has always been a sub-group that claimed there was a' Chum-chum club.'
That posters from this 'club' dominated the Boards , and would agree as a group.
It's hogwash, but that is how they saw things.
Maybe it's time for this set of posters.
Maybe this is what those posters that didn't like the 'usual posters' want. If so, they have it.
It'll be interesting to see this new 'Chum Chum Club' carry the torch and how much they are liked or disliked.

It isn't a new chum chum so much as it is one chum. We are in the golden age of spam... throw enough crap at the wall maybe something sticks. Perhaps chum will realize at some point quality trumps quantity.
