Crystal Ball for One Player

Here's a question that may get these Boards more engaged....

You can pick one player, and only one player.

You can know this player's numbers at the end of September right now.
Who would that player be for you?

For me, it would be Devin Mesoraco. I wanna know if I'm wasting my time holding him.
The Reds have seemingly no idea what to do with Mesoraco, wasting a month of dl for a roster spot that has had four pinch hit attempts in which he has failed.

And already breaking my own rule, I'd also like to pick a player that has nothing to do with Main Event fantasy team.
Just a baseball fan's wonderings...

I'd like to know how Kris Bryant's numbers end.
He has too much power to not have an eventual breakout.
Or, does he?
Have pitchers figured out this guy before he even starts hitting?
Can he make the necessary adjustments?
And how long will those adjustments take him if he can?
Now where did I put that crystal ball?

My answer is BRANDON BEACHY.

Why? Because my team lost Adam Wainwright. And if Beachy doesn't come back soon, and take the place of Wainwright in my rotation, it's game over and $$$ lost.

Easy call for me: Masahiro Tanaka.

I see one of these two scenarios playing out:

1) He comes back in late May/early June and dominates, maybe missing an occasional start

2) His situation remains unresolved for 1-2 months, before he finally opts for TJS

For now, I begrudgingly have to hold him. It's a tough call, but his potential is so far greater than anything available on the free agent list.

For me it would be Danny Salazar. If he puts up the numbers I think he could. My FAAB gets used differently.

Real baseball Carlos Correa from Houston what if he makes the AA to majors transition and contributes. Houston becomes a very interesting team and could be very active at the trade deadline. Houston looks like the most interesting team out there right now all kinds of scenarios are in play.

Strangely enough, mine would be Michael Bourn. I picked him up for steals, runs scored, and maybe batting average. If he gets back close to the 2012 Bourn he could be a game changer for my team the way it is made up. If not, I would love to cut bait now.

For me it's Alex Guerrero. Left alone to play I believe he's a 25 homer .300 hitter. Not sure what he has done to Mattingly(does he have a daughter?) but he is stuck behind uribe and a suddenly good Justin Turner(wtf?). If he isn't going to get regular ab I would love to know right now, like today!!

This might seem odd, but I seem to be the guy every year who drafts a minor league player that never gets called up, while everyone else seems to get the minor league player that makes a huge impact. Last year it was Archie Bradley for me.

As a result, I would love to know if Jose Peraza is going to get called up or if I wasted another roster spot. I expected him to be a June 1 steals guy and possibly sooner.

My past history says otherwise, but I keep hoping.

Hey Greg! Based on what I saw Sunday (two great defensive plays,three RBI, two runs scored, one stolen base, four hits and a walk which took his average up over .300 in 93 at-bats), I think he will be up, maybe even before the ASB.

In short, you release him...I will try to grab him!
