STILL 44 SPOTS LEFT with less than two hours to go. This is going to be very tough to fill up with just NFBC members, but let's try in this next hour. We'll have to relook this format going forward, but let's see if we can fill this last one up tonight. Who wants to turn $25 into $125,000? Good luck all and enjoy.

.
Glad to hear this one sold out in time for the deadline.
I'd planned to enter but saw a lot of weather issues in the otherwise juicy games and after being duped by BaseBallPress.com yesterday I was holding off.
Not sure if that site is the best place to get weather info but they're great for up-to-date starting lineups. Last night within 30 mins of the cutoff they showed only a 9% POP under weather but we all know it poured all night long in Denver. I've seen games with a 55% POP for weather and avoided them only to have those games played with no delays.
Last night's postponement of DBacks at Rockies screwed most of my entries.
Good luck to you all tonight, especially with the weather. If it bites you in the butt, I feel for ya.

Andy - you didn't hear? It was all a conspiracy to make sure there's someone around to run auctions next spring.
Thanks -- had to sweat a couple of Kemp and J-Up at bats but the Giants arms had it going on last night.

Re: Win A 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry Via Fanduel
Just out of curiosity....since this is the first daily game I've entered...
How do the sites handle double headers like today's Colorado make up?
You must chose a player for one of the two games?
Can you delineate between the two games?

Re: Win A 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry Via Fanduel
None of the sites will have both games at the same time. On the all-day slates, it will be the regularly scheduled game (which was the afternoon tilt). Some sites may avail the nightcap on late slates, depending when they lock in salaries and open things up for entering teams.Atlas wrote:Just out of curiosity....since this is the first daily game I've entered...

Todd - Quick question for you if you don't mind. It's an interesting lineup to me insofar as it's not really stacked (Obvi Betts-Peds and Springer-Gattis were next to each other in their respective lineups). Curious, if you're so inclined to speak strategy publicly, if you have thoughts on the stack approach vs. trying to be opportunistic across individual matchups?Greg Ambrosius wrote:Kudos to Todd Zola, who becomes our 4th NFBC owner to win a 2016 NFBC Main Event entry. Not for nothing but I've been writing about DFS analysis and strategy for three yearsEWeaver wrote:

Obviously this was a winner-take-all so you need some risks but with a small field compared to some tourneys with tens of thousands of entrants, I don't think you need to go too goofy with risk.
Ironically, Betts and D-Ped were supposed to get on and steal a base against Rivera (and Pedey did) -- wasn't looking for two Mookie bombs. The pop was supposed to be Springer and Gattis against Wandy.
The rest was just matchup and price.

Re: Win A 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry Via Fanduel
I won 3rd place, these contests are ultra competitive! I had Kemp launch a deep one with two men on to the warning track and should have stuck with Wong at 2B. Great pick by those who took Shelby Miller, my Phillies suck, I took Grienke. Last week I finished 6th a couple points from first. UGH!
Congrats to all winners!
Dan LaMagna
