snore....snore....snore....what? What was that noise? Somebody doubting Johnny Gomes?



The Big Dog has awoken and he's waiting to chomp on all the Gomes haters.



I want an apology from all the Gomes haters in 2007.

The guy can hit, he is "100% healthy" and ready to DH and play 1st when need be.

Hmmmm...do I trust a "bigdog" or gomes's actual stats last year. Ya, that's a tough one

Speaking of stats. Gomes hit .293 with 14 homers and 35 rbi's in his first 40 games last year.



He did deal with a shoulder injury the rest of the year which hindered his performance greatly. With shoulder surgery now behind him he has a real chance to flourish.
