The Dan Kenyon Top 10 List
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

As a joke (I think), a friend of mine made a present of a blow-up doll to me. In her hand, a bag of Doritos.
Going off subject....
Dave Dombrowski gets fired today.
Whether we agree with that decision or not matters little. What matters to me is that Mike Illitch is an owner who cares about his team.
He wants to win.
And he doesn't want to win league titles and think that's enough for the fans of Detroit.
He wants the big ring.
Detroit fans are lucky to have him.
In the meantime, there are ownerships like Colorado and Philadelphia and others who can't sniff even a league Championship, yet are content and happy that fans still show up to watch their floundering teams.
Lyrics from the Buckinghams song, 'Don't you Care' seem appropriate for these fans pleading to owners of their teams...
Slightly adjusted....
'If you don't love me,
Why don't you tell me?
Instead of lookin' around
While crap on the field abounds,
Can't you see you're hurtin' me?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?
If you don't want me,
Why don't you tell me?
Instead of tellin' lies
And makin' me cry,
Can't you see you're hurtin' me?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?
What ever happened to all the good times we used to have?
The times we cried and laughed, I wanna know, I wanna know,
Will you ever love me again or will I find out that this is the end?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?
Don't you care?'

On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
