First round is going to be wide open this year. Will make for some very interesting KDS.

You are correct.
I'll post the second round a little later. Every player taken in the second round, I believe, could be drafted in the first round in other drafts this year.
Some points about the first round.....

Only one player drafted (Miggy is 32), is older than his twenties. More than half have not reached their 'golden year' of age 27.

In the past, 1B have dominated infield positions in the first round. There were four third basemen taken. Three first basemen.

THREE Cubs taken in the first round. Chicago drafts could be interesting this year.

Twice as many National Leaguers as American Leaguers, 10-5.

Very cool to see the very first, first round results...
Having said that, no way in hell would I ever pick Miguel Cabrera in first and for that matter second round ever again. He will most probably cost me a stupid amount of money...and when he finally hits a HR, too late for my offense numbers, he hurts me again taking away a potentiel win for Erik Johnson...and now he sits again today...go to hell...he is no more then a one category player from now on. Unless you pick him later, then he becomes value.

Probably should have used the venting thread...

The first round will be deep and wide. Stanton and McCutchen in the back third of the first round? Makes sense but what a great way to start your team.

I can already see I will KDS the middle this year. So many options and limits getting impacted by those hurtful closer/catcher/speed runs.

Really interesting results so far. (Damn, I can't wait to start drafting!) While I found a few picks surprising, Bautista falling to 2(14) kind of jumped out at me as perhaps the biggest surprise so far.

Five pitchers in the first 30 picks, then BOOM....

Round 4 illustrates how deep next year's drafts will be. It also shows how the young players have bullied their way into the top rounds. Banished from the top rounds are Adam Jones, Michael Brantley, Robinson Cano, Felix Hernandez, Carlos Gonzalez, and Justin Upton.
The kids are still making their presence known in this round in the names of Keuchel, Syndergaard, and Sano.
And just an fyi for those who will be drafting later, Miguel Sano and Prince Fielder will be U only during the drafting season.

It seems that way in October every year.
And just like every year, no more than 17-18 different players will make up the the first round in every draft come March.
