World Series Matchup

So in setting your playoff contest team, what is your presumed WS matchup?

For me: (1) Cubs v Astros, (2) Cubs v Rangers, (3) a silly alternate pick that I hope doesn't happen, Mets v Blue Jays.

I went with Dodgers v. Royals or Blue Jays.

Now that my Yankees are out, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs win it all. I kind of liked the Pirates this season to win it all, and feel bad that they ran into Arrieta the year after Bumgarner, but I guess that's the price they pay for not beating out the Cards (especially with all of the Cards' injuries this season) and avoiding the Wild Card game.

KC/TOR and St.Louis.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

If this had been started prior to the Cubs and Rangers winning, it would've been a fun thread.

Actually, this is moot -- the lineups were set before the wild card game.

Question was essentially who we thought would win pre wild cards.

Cubs-Stros for me with LA/Tor hedged
