As Tom said, set your KDS preferences tonight, look for draft spots tomorrow and at 1:00 tomorrow Tom will pause this league. Hopefully he can set it up early on New Year's Day for you to start at 11 am ET.
A special thanks to Dan and Mike for setting up these fast drafts. They have taken the initiative to set these up and to run them and we appreciate them. If people want more of these and they need us to set these up without Dan and Mike or KJ having to compete in them as well just let us know. We obviously can't be on text as much, but we'll do what we can. These can easily be set up as 4-Hour DCs and then you guys can go at your own pace.
Again, thanks for creating these and hopefully we can continue these going forward. Let me or Tom know if you need any help along the way. Thanks all and ENJOY!!
Thanks for setting up the league. I'll defer to others on the West Coast and/or any serious New Year Eve partiers, but no objections here to an 11 am ET start time.

That's a wee bit early post NYE for us mountain folk

, but I'll be ready and raring if that is indeed go time.

Hopefully, that will be the time.
Helluva lot better than watching parades!
To be serious, I asked for the move up in time.
If a PST'er is on the clock and takes awhile to pick, it'll be understood why.
We'll call it a 'soft opening'.

Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Who am I kidding? I'll be in bed by 10 on NYE and chomping at the bit by 9 am. Should be a great day, as I will also be watching my Wolverines v. Florida, but no parades...

Dan,
I come off duty that morning at 0800 FYI. Whichever time you and the fellas choose, I can make work.

I'm fine starting whenever on New Years Day, but 1:00 p.m. EST seems to make it easiest on most of the West Coasters and Mountain Timers.
Dough, I think it would be a good idea if guys still volunteered their cell numbers just to make sure we don't get stuck due draft room glitches which are bound to happen throughout. I have the majority of this crew's, but it would be good to have others, not for pressure to make picks (unless it is requested
), but just a fail safe. Just an idea

Unless there are any strong objections let's go with 1 pm ET on New Year's Day. I'll resume the draft at that time. Thanks.

Mike, we'll get those numbers when the draft begins.
Tom, sounds like 1 PM, EST is easiest for you guys so lets go with that.

Thank you for organizing Dan and Mike. I knew it would be a tough group and that I would learn a lot. Few things I did not count on though:
Had no idea Dan would discuss his extensive research into the similarities between Ian Stewart and Joe Dimaggio.
Never mention table tennis to an immature group.
Don and Larry are very similar people depending on where you live.
The rest of the items are too XXX rated to share.

Yes another fabulous time had by all...and in less than five days with some great chat and even a couple of newbies who survived the MTM draft facilitation initiation.
