PBS - The Fantasy Sports Gamble

"They don't say in their commercials that there aren't many winners."
Well you're an idiot for not knowing that. DFS is garbage and while I don't consider that gambling it's the player's faults for losing money and becoming addicted. They try to blame it on DFS advertising and take no accountability, normal addict behavior.

These people act like someone made them sign up and took their money. I don't know about you guys, but I consider myself highly capable of winning season long fantasy anything and no one is twisting my arm to sign up. I know what I'm in for and have been successful. The people in this obviously slanted documentary are stupid.

DFS is garbage? In some ways it's a better game. Don't get me wrong - I've played NFBC and NFFC for 7 years so I like both formats.Bjs2025 wrote:"They don't say in their commercials that there aren't many winners."

Garbage is drafting a team and having your ace pitcher ruin his season by taking a bad swing while he's up to bat --- in mid April. Remember the Adam Wainwright injury last year? That's garbage. Knowing that your season is already done. At least with DFS you can move on the very next day!
I do agree with you 100% on the no accountability item.
