Any chance of getting some of the draft results posted from Tuesday night? I know a lot of us would like to see how the first few rounds look.

Look and weep. Good outfield was gone by round 20-21. :( If you play this out, it is going to be long year. You are below average at catcher. You are weak in the middle infield. You a strong three at 1st, 3rd, and CO. You have only one solid outfielder. As for pitching, Your front five starter are ok not great. I don't like the back of your staff. The two are above average as a combo. Good Luck

Jimmy Rollins going 30 is a bit of a suprise. If i took PULJOS and Rollins with my 2nd pick , that would be a great start.

Thought the same thing. Pujols then still got Rollins with Dye. Yahoo. Still got Putz to boot. I believe that was Eligrimmet with the first pick? Someone predicted he would win a league this year. Well he's well on his way to winning this one.

Don't forget, we are playing with this years stats, not last years. ;) Although I must say, Eli does have a pretty good team overall.

Some have questioned my pitching, obviously I could use a few more "quality" pitchers, but I guarantee at least two of the last 4 will surprise many this season. Thanks for any input.

GLY - Nice team. Back end of pitching and OF somewhat suspect, but nothing different than other teams end up being.

My one bit of advice...and I know several will disagree is McCann. I think 5th round is too early. He is good, but I think if he repeats last years numbers, he still shouldn't go that early. (And I don't see him repeating.)

Haven't talked to you in a while, hope all is well.

What are Piazza and Jenkins doing on this team? Most of this squad will get carded at their local pub.
On my tombstone-

Well, I'm almost afraid to post what I ended up with, since I wrote Overbay's name down at 1B on the paper I was writing all my guys down on, and didn't catch my error until round 19 LOL. I suppose the good news is I have no shortage of Aces.

Sorry about that!! GLY, you have previously posted your WINNING team from LY's $100 satellite. You seem to be following a VERY similar model in the mock drafts in which you've participated. Building strength thru your Infield, Quality Closer Options, and solid Catching with High risk in your Outfield and Starting Staff. Overemphasis on youth turned fortuitous LY with the unbelievably Outstanding year's by Ryan Howard and H. Ramirez. Trying to catch Lightning in a bottle again? I take it you'll be in Tampa for the Main Event. Good luck with that strategy...

John Not trying to be a wise guy but that may be the worst offense I have ever seen drafted in this contest. Great pitching-

Haven't talked to you in a while, hope all is well. I wanted 2 good catchers and missed out on both Mauer and Martinez, so I figured I would get McCann. We'll see what happens, barring injury, he shouldn't decline much, if any.

I'm doing great, have a new addition coming to our family the first couple weeks of July, so I will be beyond busy come summer time trying to handle 3 kids at night, watching baseball, and prepping for football. At least I have rotowin.com to help me out!

I actually set out to get young players on all my fantasy teams, baseball/football/basketball. I'm not a fan of the crusty old veterans, it's sad to say, but I would rather have a young, unknown, unproven player, than a reliable veteran. Not sure why, but's it's how I've always been since I started playing. I did get a good laugh from your post.

Plus, if a player "did it for me" in previous years, I become pretty loyal, that is until they get old. :D

And yes I will be in Tampa, but only as a facilitator. I play in the NFFC main, DC, etc...but have yet to sign up for the NFBC main. I plan to join you guys next season.

CHEST ROCKWELL...Thanks for the comments about my team in another thread. Although I was thinking the team looks worse on paper, compared to how it will finish. I am curious, what offensive category do you see it struggling in?? Hopefully by next season I will have my strategy tweaked just enough so I can compete in the main, I don't plan to join just to fare so, so, that's why I am just getting my feet wet with the satellites. Won last year, hope to again this season. BTW, will you be in Tampa again this season??

I know I would not want people to tell me that they like my sat teams if they do not and then I go make the same mistakes in the main and lose a bunch of money. Good luck.

As far as more constructive criticism- not going to help you beat me- I have another mouth to feed and need that 5k. Good luck in all your sats and the main event.

Think there is a rule against three co managers at the draft table.

I'm ok with it as long as you pay another co fee ;)
